About
Thirty-six years of hands-on work has taught me something simple: the body remembers what the mind tries to forget. Every client who walks into my Mesa studio carries tension they didn't know they had — stress locked in the shoulders, old injuries settling into the lower back, a kind of exhaustion that sleep alone won't fix. I've spent more than three decades learning how to listen to what your body needs, whether that's Swedish massage to ease you into deep relaxation, medical-grade deep tissue work for chronic pain, or something more specialized like Fibromyalgia Therapy or sports massage for the athlete in you.
My training started at the Swedish Institute in New York back in 1989, then grew to include a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with concentration in human physiology from Arizona State University, plus a master's in spiritual science. I've worked with people living through Parkinson's, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, lymphedema, and recovery from stroke. Most medical conditions find their way into my studio, and I've learned how to adapt.
I'm based in Mesa, Arizona, serving clients throughout the valley and beyond — I make mobile house calls within a 50-mile radius if that's easier for you. My studio has UV-C filtered air, PPE available on request, and a calm space designed to help you drop the weight you've been carrying. Beyond massage, I offer spa services: ionic detox foot baths, salt scrubs, sugar and mineral polishes, facials, and body treatments at $50 each. I also work with Red-Light Therapy, the Violet Ray for neuropathy, acupressure point stimulators, and massage guns — ask what might help your particular situation.
I can do four-hand massage sessions with one of my assistants when you want twice the comfort and twice the hands working together. Gift certificates and prepaid session packages are available. Veterans, active military, law enforcement, students, massage therapists, seniors, and emergency workers receive discounts. Call or text to book.

Testimonials
Michael is the BEST. I felt so good for two days after this massage — better than I've ever felt after a massage. I actually hated massages before this, but now I'm a believer. I'm keeping him as a regular until I move. Thank you so much.
After finding Michael's website, I booked an appointment and was so glad I did. He's professional and understanding, asking about my medical history and any problem areas before we started. The massage left me feeling relaxed and de-stressed. I highly recommend him.
From the moment the session started, I felt at ease and supported. I've been dealing with physical challenges, and Michael helped me feel more hopeful about my recovery. During the work, I could feel the stress leaving. His hands did what I needed, and I left smiling, already thinking about the next appointment.
A great massage from a very knowledgeable and personable professional. He made me feel at ease the whole time. I'll be back.
I've gotten bodywork from Michael multiple times. His years of experience show in both his manner and his technique.
I've been seeing Michael for several years now, and as a larger client I was initially worried he wouldn't be able to handle my lower back. But over time, I've noticed my back feels better for longer, my shoulders feel more relaxed, and my posture when standing and sitting has improved. He's always professional and somehow knows exactly what my body needs each session.
Michael's knowledge and skill made my session exceptional. He knew exactly how much pressure to use and changed it throughout. He had an innate sense of what I needed. For the four-hand massage, Michael and Paul worked in perfect coordination, moving beautifully together. I left more energized than ever.
I've had chronic back pain for decades and couldn't drive more than an hour or two without needing a break. When we were traveling through Arizona for six weeks, I called Michael to come to our hotel. Having never had a massage before, I didn't know what to expect, but his work made an immediate difference. I finished the rest of our trip without that constant lower back and leg pain. His prices are also more reasonable than most.
Michael is professional, highly skilled, and easy to talk to. He varied his pressure throughout in ways that felt both stimulating and relaxing. My shoulder soreness disappeared. I also tried the four-handed massage with him and Paul, and they coordinated their skills beautifully together. Highly recommended.
I called Michael because I knew I needed real stress relief, and he delivered. His training and skill were exactly what I needed to address what I'd been going through. Right away I felt relaxed, and his techniques worked for me. I'm looking forward to coming back.
