About
Over 20 years, I've learned that tension doesn't just live in your muscles. It settles into your nervous system, your fascia, the patterns your body falls back on after stress or injury. I started this work with a background most massage therapists don't have—I played college football as an offensive lineman, so I understand the body structurally and intuitively. I know how compensation patterns develop, how old injuries reshape movement, how the nervous system holds onto what it's been through.
That experience led me to Boston University, where I earned a Master's degree in Human Movement. That education deepened what my own body had already taught me. Now, working with clients here in Carpinteria and serving surrounding areas within a 25-mile radius, I combine deep tissue massage with myofascial release, acupressure, and intuitive, targeted work to help you release these holding patterns and restore balance.
I'm not here to give you a surface-level relaxation session, though you'll feel calm afterward. I'm here to address both the structural tension and the underlying stress responses stored in your body. Clients often report feeling physically lighter, mentally calmer, and more grounded—not just for a day, but with lasting change. My studio in Carpinteria offers a full range of techniques: acupressure, deep tissue, myofascial release, reflexology, reiki, sports massage, and Swedish massage. If you'd rather I come to you, I bring a heated table, music, and aromatherapy options.
