About

Twenty years of hands-on work with clients has taught me that every body tells a story, and the best massage listens before it heals. I'm a certified massage therapist trained at IPPT in North Hollywood, California, and I've spent two decades refining what it means to truly understand the musculature and tension that builds up in people's lives. That experience shaped how I work now.

I blend deep tissue, Swedish relaxation, and guided stretching into sessions that feel completely customized to you, not to some template. Some therapists stick to one approach. I've learned that real relief comes from reading your body, asking good questions, and then responding with intuition that only comes from years of practice. I focus on everything, head to toes, but especially those places other therapists overlook, like your feet and scalp.

My studio in Valley Village, Los Angeles is designed around comfort and calm. The table is wide and padded, heated to keep your muscles warm. I use hot stones, cool mist, warm towels, and a unique playlist that you won't hear everywhere else. The lighting is subdued with candles. It's the kind of space where you can actually relax instead of wondering if you're being rushed.

I also offer body scrubs and body hair trimming or manscaping if you want the full pampering experience. But what matters most is that I meet you where you are, listen to what your body needs, and deliver that.

I'm conveniently located near Burbank, North Hollywood, and Studio City, and I welcome people from all walks of life. As a gay man, I understand and value what it means to feel genuinely welcome, respected, and cared for. You'll get that here. Text or call if you have questions or want to book. I look forward to working with you.

Hemasseur's Take

Across his client reviews, Mark consistently stands out for his intuitive understanding of the body, ability to calibrate pressure precisely, and skill in identifying and working on trouble spots without clients needing to spell out their needs. Clients repeatedly mention that his 20 years of experience are evident in his technique, his knowledge of anatomy, and his ability to combine deep tissue work with relaxation and guided stretching in ways that feel surprisingly personal.

Beyond the massage itself, the distinctive environment of his studio—the candlelight, warm table, hot and cool elements, quality products, and his genuine warmth as a person—emerges as equally important to his clients. Many return repeatedly and recommend him specifically because they feel heard, respected, and cared for from the moment they arrive through the final hug goodbye.
