About

The 500-hour Massage Therapist Program at the Massage Therapy Institute in Davis taught me the anatomy, the mechanics, the science behind what happens when skilled hands meet tired muscles. That was 2017 and 2018. But over more than a decade of hands-on work in Sacramento, I've learned something that no classroom can fully teach: how to listen to what a body is actually asking for.

I've built my practice in the heart of Midtown Sacramento on the belief that real relief comes from blending techniques with intention. Swedish work, deep tissue, acupressure, medical massage, sports techniques, trigger point therapy—I don't use them all on everyone. I use them on *you*, adjusted to what you need. If you want pressure, I'll give you pressure. If you want gentleness, that's what the table will feel like. I also work with cupping and facilitated stretching, and I can add body trimming if that's part of what brings you back to balance.

My clients span every background: business professionals who carry tension in their shoulders, athletes recovering from training, body workers who understand that their hands need care too, artists, hair dressers who've spent years on their feet, people in their 70s and 80s, plus-size clients, the full spectrum of the LGBTQ+ community. What they have in common isn't who they are—it's that they walk in carrying muscle pain, tension, discomfort, or just the weight of stress. They leave feeling the difference.

The studio itself is private, quiet, and welcoming. Free parking out front. Heated table. Hot towels. You'll hear soft music, and you can talk as much or as little as you want during your session. I'm here to help your body find its way back to ease.

I'm also mobile and serving Sacramento and surrounding areas within a 5-mile radius, so if coming to the studio doesn't work for your schedule, I can bring the table to you.

Testimonials

Over five years I've seen many massage therapists for lower back and general tension. Nolan is top-tier. In the first ten minutes he figured out that I was misaligned, which was affecting my lower back and my walk—something no other therapist had identified. He worked the right areas and combined stretching. I left relaxed and fluid again, and I'm now a consistent client.

I've been to Nolan several times now and have committed to recurring appointments—that's my way of saying he's a 10 out of 10. He reads what you want: conversation or silence, and he delivers deep, focused work on the muscles that actually need it. Even my introverted boyfriend, who has anxiety, came back raving about his session.

The cupping and stretching were wonderful components of my massage. The whole experience was genuinely relaxing.
