About

Between 2003 and 2006, I studied massage therapy and holistic health care at two respected San Diego schools: Meridian School of International Sciences and the School of Healing Arts. Those foundational years taught me that the body speaks its own language—pain isn't just a sensation, it's a signal. Every knot, every tight muscle, every area of tension is telling a story about how you move, how you carry stress, where you've been holding on.

I've been working with clients across San Diego and the surrounding areas ever since, building a practice around one simple truth: your massage should be as unique as you are. I don't follow a script. When you come to my studio or when I come to you, I spend time finding what your body actually needs. That might be deep tissue work to break up adhesions. It might be myofascial release to restore movement. It might be aromatherapy and reflexology to calm your nervous system. Or it might be sports massage to help you recover and perform better. I blend these techniques together based on what I'm sensing—what's tight, what's restricted, where the real work needs to happen.

What I've learned over the years is that people come in carrying both physical and emotional weight. You might have a sore shoulder from the way you work. You might have neck tension from stress. You might just need to feel held and cared for. I listen to all of that. During every session, I'm checking in with you about pressure, asking what feels right, adjusting as I go. You should leave my table feeling like you've stepped out of your life for a moment—relaxed, lighter, ready to move through your day differently.

If you're in pain or you just need to unwind, reach out by text or phone. I'm here to answer questions and help you figure out what you're missing.

Testimonials

If you want a great massage, book with Hanza! Not only is he fantastic at what he provides (finding all the stress and adhesions to address), he is also the kindest person. He is welcoming and friendly — I’m absolutely a regular! When you find someone this great, there’s no need to look further. I tell him often how fortunate am I to have found him.

There's something about Nay's energy—it's calming from the moment you text him to book. You can feel his healing presence even before you meet. His massage work is so good that words like 'amazing' don't even come close. Book with this person. His work is that special.

I was staying in San Diego for an extended time and wanted a weekly massage from someone I felt comfortable with and connected to. Nay was my first choice, and it turned out to be my only choice because the experience was that good. He's warm and funny, and his massage skills are excellent in every way. My body moves and feels better for days after a session with him. Despite the time we spent together, he made me feel personally cared for. He's completely focused on the work and seems to move with the rhythm of the massage rather than watching the clock. I was happy to tip him for the extra time.

Hemasseur's Take

Clients repeatedly praise Nay for his intuitive ability to locate tension and pain without being told where to look, especially in the neck, shoulders, back, and areas affected by sciatica or nerve pain. His sessions consistently leave people in a state of deep relaxation they describe as difficult to put into words, with many reporting that chronic pain or headaches they expected to live with have disappeared after working with him.

Beyond his technical skill, reviewers highlight his warm energy, genuine kindness, attentiveness to comfort and pressure throughout the session, and the personal care he brings to each appointment—making clients feel safe, heard, and deeply cared for rather than rushed through a standard treatment.

FAQ

How much does massage cost in San Diego?

My studio sessions run $160 for 60 minutes, which is below the San Diego average of $145 for specialty bodywork. First-time clients also receive a discount.

What is deep tissue massage good for?

Deep tissue massage targets tight muscles and breaks up adhesions—knots of tension that restrict movement and cause pain. I use deeper pressure combined with my intuitive sense of where your body actually needs work, focusing on problem areas like your neck, shoulders, lower back, or anywhere else you're holding tension.

Do you offer mobile massage in San Diego?

Yes, I offer both in-studio sessions and mobile massage services. I travel to clients throughout San Diego and surrounding areas, so if you'd prefer me to come to you, let me know when you book.

What techniques do you use?

I'm trained in multiple techniques: deep tissue, myofascial release, sports massage, lomi lomi, reflexology, and aromatherapy. I customize each session based on what your body needs—whether that's recovery from workouts, relief from chronic pain, or pure relaxation.

Can massage help with neck and shoulder pain?

Absolutely. Neck and shoulder tension is one of the most common reasons people book with me. During your session, I find the tight spots you might not even realize are sore, work them out with the right pressure and technique, and help restore your range of motion.

How do I book a massage with you?

Contact me via text or phone with your preferred date and time. Let me know if you'd like to come to my studio in San Diego or if you'd prefer a mobile session. I'm also happy to answer any questions about what type of massage might work best for you.
