About

Swedish massage and deep tissue work hit differently once you understand how pressure, rhythm, and touch can shift the whole nervous system. After 14 years working with clients across Manhattan, California, and everywhere in between, I've learned that the real healing happens when someone finally feels safe enough to let their muscles actually relax.

I'm Ragnar. Born in Eastern Europe, I came to the States as a teenager and cut my teeth in a little massage studio in Manhattan where I was blessed to work alongside masseurs from all over the world. You pick up something different from each person—a technique here, a philosophy there, a way of reading the body that clicks. That cross-pollination of styles is what I bring to the table.

These days I'm based in Santa Ana, California, but I'm constantly on the move across the country. I work in-studio when I'm here, and I travel with my own table—big, comfortable, the kind of setup that feels like home no matter where we are. That's given me the chance to work with clients in Huntington Beach, Santa Barbara, Anaheim, and all around Southern California.

I blend techniques depending on what your body needs: Swedish for that full-body relaxation and tension relief, deep tissue when there's something deeper going on—chronic pain, old injuries, muscle knots that won't quit. I also work with acupressure, shiatsu, reflexology, and sports massage. The goal is always the same: to give you real relief and actual healing, not just a nice hour on the table.

I'm a big supporter of the LGBTQ community, and I want everyone to feel welcome here. If you've got questions or you're not sure what technique might help, just ask. That's what I'm here for.

I was so glad he could come to my place. He brought his table, had a gentle hand, kept smiling, and carefully worked through my tight spots. The whole experience felt really good.

FAQ

How much does a massage cost in Santa Ana with Ragnar?

In-studio sessions are $150 for 60 minutes or $200 for 90 minutes. Mobile massage to your home or office runs $180 for 60 minutes or $230 for 90 minutes. I serve the Santa Ana area and surrounding regions up to 50 miles out.

Does Ragnar do mobile massage in Santa Ana?

Yes, I travel throughout Southern California with my own massage table and hot towels. I'm available for both in-studio sessions in Santa Ana and mobile appointments within a 50-mile radius, from early morning through late evening.

What's the difference between Swedish and deep tissue massage?

Swedish massage uses lighter, flowing pressure to relax muscles and improve circulation—perfect when you just need to decompress after a tough day. Deep tissue targets chronic pain and those stubborn muscle knots by working into the layers beneath the surface where tension really lives.

Does Ragnar offer same-day appointments?

I'm available 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day, and I often accommodate last-minute bookings, especially for mobile sessions. Reach out and let me know what works for your schedule.

What techniques does Ragnar use?

I work with Swedish, deep tissue, acupressure, shiatsu, reflexology, and sports massage. I blend these styles based on what your body needs—whether that's full-body relaxation, pain relief, or recovery from athletic activity.

Is there a discount for repeat clients?

Yes. Discounts are available for clients who come back regularly. Just ask me about loyalty pricing when you book.

What payment methods do you accept?

I take cash, Venmo, and Zelle. Choose whatever's easiest for you.

Can Ragnar help with chronic pain or muscle knots?

Absolutely. Deep tissue massage and sports massage are what I use to work on chronic issues, old injuries, and those stubborn muscle knots. I also offer physical therapy consultation to address what's driving the pain.
