About

Over 25 years working the massage tables at LA's finest hotels and spas taught me one thing: the body tells you what it needs if you know how to listen. I came to West Hollywood because this is where I belong—in the heart of a community that values authenticity and real care. My studio here is perfectly located with parking that actually works, so you can roll up, walk in, and get down to the work of feeling better.

I've spent two and a half decades learning how shoulders lock up from tension, how a desk job and driving slowly wreck the lower back and hips, and exactly which techniques unlock those problem areas. I'm certified in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, and Thai—including Traditional Thai on a floor mat, which is absolutely worth trying if you've never experienced it. My toolkit also includes acupressure and stretching work that goes deep without being rough.

I came to massage because I suffered from lower back pain myself as an athlete, and I honed my techniques through that personal struggle. Now I use that knowledge with every client. Each session starts the same way: compressions, stretching, and a full-body assessment so I can feel where you actually need the most attention instead of guessing.

I've built a practice on long-term regulars and repeats, and I'm genuinely happy to take on first-time clients. All body types welcome. I'm gay and proud to serve the LGBT community. Come visit the table. Massage bliss is real, and it's waiting for you here in West Hollywood.

From the Hemasseur Team

Mike is a licensed and certified massage therapist in West Hollywood, California, with over 25 years of professional experience at LA's finest hotels and spas. His training at IPSB in Santa Monica gave him a strong foundation, but his real education came from two and a half decades working with clients' bodies—learning exactly how desk work and driving affect the lower back, where shoulders hold tension, and which techniques actually work. He is certified in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, and Thai massage, including the floor-mat version of Traditional Thai that many clients seek out specifically.

Mike serves West Hollywood and surrounding areas within a 10-mile radius, both in his well-appointed studio and via mobile massage to your home. His studio includes free parking, aromatherapy, a private restroom, and shower access—luxuries that make a real difference when you're trying to relax. As a gay-owned business, he welcomes the LGBT community and all body types without exception. Clients benefit most from working with Mike if they're dealing with lower back pain, hip tightness, or the cumulative strain of sitting and driving, and they want someone who listens to what their body actually needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all routine.
