About

Training at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy taught me the science of how muscle and bone interact, but it's the five years since that I've truly learned the art of letting someone's body tell me what it needs. I completed my neuromuscular certification in late 2022, and I've kept learning ever since. Last spring I trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage through Klose Training in Chicago. I also studied cupping methods through the International Cupping Therapy Association. But here's what matters most: I learned that even the most targeted, clinical work should still feel good, because that's truly when the body heals best.

Massage has been a lifelong passion of mine, and nothing brings me more joy than helping people feel their very best. I work with each person who comes through my door using my own signature blend of Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Thai techniques. Every body is different. Every person carries tension in different places, holds stress in different ways. I adjust what I do based on what I feel under my hands and what you tell me you need.

My studio near downtown Colorado Springs was designed from the ground up to feel like your own little oasis. The heated table, the soothing music, the aromatherapy, the hot towels and stones. I keep my schedule intentional—just two massages a day—so I can show up fully present for you. I also travel to serve clients throughout Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas.

I welcome everyone, regardless of gender, orientation, age, or anything else that makes you uniquely you. My table is a judgment-free space where you can breathe, let go, and restore. The easiest way to reach me is by text.

Testimonials

After three years of weekly massages for mental and physical health, Dio consistently delivers more quality than I've found in high-end spas. His studio rivals luxury establishments, and his hands combine strength with gentleness. He checks in throughout to ensure pressure feels right, and the side-body work in his 120-minute sessions is fluid and deeply restorative. Finding this level of skill from an independent therapist in Colorado Springs is truly rare.

After many years of massage experience, I can say without hesitation that Dio delivers one of the best massages I've ever had. He's strong when he needs to be, but more importantly he has excellent technique, great intuition, and an uncanny ability to read a person and their body. When I joked that he shouldn't mess with perfection by learning new techniques at conferences, I was only half kidding. He's humble and relatable despite being very handsome and clearly taking good care of himself. I'm happy to recommend him, though I'm a bit reluctant to let the secret out since I want to keep his schedule open for me.

Dio ranks in the top five percent of all the massages I've received in my lifetime. He's welcoming and easy to be around, and his studio is well-appointed with one of the most comfortable tables and headrests I've experienced. Even during a full 90-minute session requesting constant strong pressure, he maintained the same firm contact throughout. The hot stone treatment and hot towels added wonderful touches, and his choice to position me side-lying was unique and effective. I'm convinced I've found one of the best, and I'd recommend without hesitation.

Hemasseur's Take

Clients consistently praise Dio for delivering massage quality they rank in the top tier of their lifetime experience, often comparing his work to high-end spas while appreciating his accessible, independent practice. His strength combined with precise technique and genuine attentiveness—especially his ability to assess the body and adjust during the session—produces measurable results: decreased pain and tension, improved mobility, better mental health, and a deep sense of restoration.

What sets him apart is the full experience he creates: the comfort of his heated table and studio environment, his calm demeanor that puts people at ease, his willingness to try new positioning for better access to problem areas, and his intuitive reading of what each body needs on any given day.

FAQ

How much does a massage cost in Colorado Springs?

A 60-minute massage with me is $120, 90 minutes is $180, and 120 minutes is $240. I offer a range of techniques—Deep Tissue, Swedish, Thai, Hot Stone, Shiatsu, Sports, Neuromuscular, Trigger Point, and Aromatherapy—so the work is customized to what your body needs that day.

Do you offer same-day appointments in Colorado Springs?

Same-day availability can be limited because I keep my schedule intentional with just two massages per day, but I always do my best to find a time that works for you. Text me and we'll figure it out.

What massage technique is best for deep muscle tension?

Deep Tissue combined with Neuromuscular work is highly effective for releasing stubborn muscle tension. I trained in neuromuscular massage therapy and use trigger point work to target the specific areas holding tension. I also adjust pressure throughout the session to make sure it feels good while doing the work.

Are you a licensed massage therapist in Colorado?

Yes. I completed my Licensed Neuromuscular Massage Therapist certification at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy in Colorado Springs and continue my training in specialized techniques like Manual Lymphatic Drainage and cupping therapy.

Do you offer mobile massage in Colorado Springs?

I do offer mobile massage and travel throughout Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. I bring a heated massage table and all the same amenities you'd experience in my studio, including hot towels, stones, and aromatherapy.

What should I expect during my first massage appointment?

Before we start, I take a full assessment of any pain, tension, or areas you want me to focus on. I listen carefully, check in throughout the session with a calm voice to make sure the pressure is right for you, and use a blend of techniques to address what your body is telling me.

Do you offer discounts or gift certificates?

Yes. Gift certificates are available, and I offer discounts for military veterans, active military, law enforcement, massage therapists, and emergency workers. Text me to discuss options.

What is included in a 120-minute massage session?

A full 120-minute session gives us time to work the entire body, including side-body work that many clients find exceptionally fluid and restorative. I use whatever combination of techniques serves you best—Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Shiatsu, Trigger Point, and more—all tailored to your needs.
