About
Twenty-one years of working with bodies has taught me something fundamental: the connection between what you feel physically and how you carry stress is real and deep. I've spent over two decades learning to read tension you didn't know you were holding, then working it out in ways that leave you calm and genuinely restored.
I trained at George Brown College in Toronto and brought that foundation south to Sarasota, where I've built a private studio that feels nothing like a clinical space. The room is intentional—soft lighting, music that doesn't intrude, a heated table with clean linens, and all the Biotone products that make the work feel luxurious without being pretentious. There's a shower available before or after, so you can arrive tense from the day or leave without rushing back to real life.
I blend deep tissue, Swedish, and trigger point work depending on what your body needs. I listen first. We talk about your problem areas—lower back, shoulders, hips, whatever's been holding you hostage—and I focus there without losing sight of the whole person on the table. Pressure is something we dial in together; I check in, you tell me what works, and I adjust.
I welcome everyone. I'm fully vaccinated against Covid-19, meningitis, and monkeypox. Text me for the fastest response—I'm open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day, and same-day appointments happen more often than you'd think.

Testimonials
I needed this massage badly, and Chris delivered. He was approachable and managed to fit me in for a same-day appointment fairly quickly. The session itself was fantastic. His deep strokes released tension I'd been carrying for weeks. I had specific trouble spots—lower back and hips—that needed attention, and he focused there without ignoring the rest of my body. He was strong where strength was needed, but the overall experience stayed gentle and relaxing. I'll definitely book again.
The massage was next level. Chris was welcoming and attentive, very in tune with my body. He listened to what I wanted and didn't want, and shaped the experience to focus on the areas needing the most help. His studio setup is first-rate, professional, and immaculate with a genuinely relaxing feel. I felt completely comfortable in his skilled, strong hands and would rebook anytime.
My first massage with Chris was excellent from start to finish. He greeted me warmly and put me at ease immediately. His studio is beautifully designed with soft lighting and spa music, creating a calm and comfortable environment. He asked good questions before starting, then worked with skill and sensitivity. He checked in about pressure and welcomed my feedback. He found problem areas I didn't even know were there and made it all feel blissful. I actually dozed off partway through. When it was over I was so relaxed I didn't want to leave, but I had to get back to work, and being able to shower quickly was wonderful. Chris is genuinely kind and friendly, and he delivers an outstanding session. I'm planning to become a regular.
The massage was awesome. I'm from New York and get regular massages, so I'm careful with new therapists. Chris opened the door with a beautiful smile. His studio is spotless. He asked all the right questions and made me feel safe. He spent time in the exact areas I requested. He knew when to talk and when to stay quiet—very professional. Living in Sarasota now, I don't need to travel to St. Pete or Tampa anymore. I recommend Chris and especially his 90-minute sessions. He didn't rush me out when time was up. Thank you.
My first visit to Chris was fabulous. He made me feel welcome right away and at ease in his presence. His space is clean, inviting, and perfectly set up for massage. The atmosphere was exactly right. Before starting, we discussed what I needed and where I wanted him to focus, and he listened carefully. His skill was obvious, and his effort in the areas we talked about—especially the one needing extra attention—was exactly what I needed. The massage was a total gift. I'm grateful for the experience and will be coming back many times. His text response when I booked was impressively quick too.
Chris has massaged me several times since he moved to Florida. He greets me with kindness and warmth each time. His home studio and services are both comforting and professional. The massage is detailed, intuitive, responsive, and carefully structured for your needs. He has real expertise and knowledge in his craft. You're in strong, capable hands, and you leave feeling soothed, energized, and ready to face the world. I'm happy to have found my regular therapist right here in Sarasota.
My massage with Chris was wonderful. He welcomed me into his clean, well-appointed studio and made me feel very comfortable. Once on the table he asked questions and explained what he'd be doing, and within a couple of minutes I knew I was in good hands. The massage was thorough and hit all the right spots. He knew exactly how to make me relax. I left a different person than when I came in. I'll be back again and again.
I've been a loyal client for over five years and look forward to each appointment because Chris's therapeutic techniques relieve my aches and leave me feeling refreshed. His studio is well appointed, clean, and calming, and I love having a shower available after. The heated table is especially great in cold weather. What matters most to me is that he's a genuinely nice, thoughtful person. He has a gift for putting clients at ease from the moment you arrive, which really maximizes the benefit of the work. Throughout each session he asks about the pressure and adjusts for your comfort. Chris is a consummate professional. If you want real results from someone truly focused on your wellbeing, book with him. You'll be very happy.
I had a 90-minute session with Chris and it was wonderful. He's a true professional who knows exactly what he's doing. The massage felt great and he worked out kinks and soreness I didn't know I had. His technique and ability to focus on my problem areas was excellent, and it's clear he has extensive experience. The room was spotless and comfortable, and I was able to relax completely. The shower afterward was a nice bonus. I recommend Chris highly and have referred him to friends.
