About
Graduating from the Soma Institute in Chicago in 2020 gave me a foundation I still draw on every day. That clinical training opened my eyes to how the body holds stress, injury, and tension—and how the right hands can help release all of it. Over the past 11 years working with clients across Chicago, I've learned that massage is never one-size-fits-all.
I'm Ronnie, a Latino massage therapist based in the 60641 area, and I work with the full spectrum of techniques because different bodies need different things. Some clients come in tight and knotted from desk work or sports—that's where deep tissue and trigger point work shine. Others need the gentler flow of Swedish massage or the grounding warmth of hot stones and aromatherapy. I also offer cupping, reflexology, and chiropractic adjustment to round out what I can do for you.
My studio is clean, easy to park at, and genuinely welcoming. I work in-studio here in Chicago, and I also bring my table to you—I serve the greater Chicago area and up to 50 miles out, so whether you're in the city or the suburbs, I can come to your home or office. My hours run 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., and I accept cash, Venmo, or Zelle. Everyone walks through that door the same: LGBTQ folks, athletes, people managing chronic pain, anyone looking to feel better. That's who I work for.

FAQ
How much does deep tissue massage cost in Chicago with Ronnie?
A 60-minute deep tissue session in my studio is $100, or $150 if I travel to your location. I've been working with deep tissue since my training at Soma Institute and know how to apply the right pressure without leaving you sore.
Does Ronnie offer mobile massage in Chicago and nearby areas?
Yes, I bring my heated table and full setup to your home or office anywhere within 50 miles of Chicago. Mobile sessions are $150 for 60 minutes or $190 for 90 minutes, and I can set up aromatherapy, candles, and music just like in my studio.
What massage techniques are best for lower back pain?
Deep tissue, trigger point work, and hot stone therapy are all effective for lower back pain because they release the tension patterns that build up over time. I often combine these techniques depending on what your back needs that day.
Can I get a same-day appointment for massage in Chicago?
Possibly—my hours run 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. today, so reach out and ask. I do my best to fit clients in, especially if you're dealing with acute pain or tension.
Does Ronnie offer cupping therapy in Chicago?
Yes, cupping is one of my additional services and pairs well with deep tissue or trigger point work. It's excellent for releasing muscle knots and improving circulation.
What should I expect on my first visit to Ronnie's studio in Chicago?
You'll walk into a clean, private space with free parking. I'll ask what's bothering you, what you're looking for in the massage, and any injuries or conditions I should know about. Then you'll lie on my heated table, and I'll work through whatever technique—or combination—makes sense for your body. Expect calm music, candles, tea or water available, and a therapist who listens.
Is Ronnie's massage studio LGBTQ-friendly in Chicago?
Absolutely. Everyone is welcome here. I make sure my space reflects that from the moment you walk in.
