About
Seventeen years of massage work has taught me something crucial: the body remembers what the mind tries to forget. When you come to my studio in the Edgewater/Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago, you're not just booking an hour on the table — you're giving yourself permission to actually stop.
I've spent nearly two decades learning how tension hides, where it lives, and how to coax it out. My sessions blend Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and several other techniques, but the real work starts with listening. I ask questions about what brought you in, what hurts, what you need. Then I get to work with my hands and intuition, finding the knots you didn't even know existed.
My studio is a low-lit, quiet space with calming music. There's free parking right here in the neighborhood, and I'm easy to reach from the Bryn Mawr Red Line or the 22, 36, 84, or 92 bus lines. I work with a full shower and private restroom on-site. Everything you need to decompress is here.
I'm also a mobile massage therapist serving Chicago and the surrounding areas within a 100-mile radius. If you'd rather have me come to you, I bring my table and create that same peaceful experience in your space.
All clients are welcome here — gay, straight, bi, trans men, cis men. Everyone. You'll be treated with respect and care from the moment you contact me through the end of your session. My only job is knowing how to work your body. Your only job is to relax.

Testimonials
As a flight attendant with frequent overnights in Chicago, I need good massage to manage the stress of the job. Zach is my go-to. He knows how to balance conversation that helps you settle in with the silence your mind needs. His hands find my problem areas without me having to say much. I've been to him several times and always leave feeling refreshed. His intuition is remarkable. So grateful to have found him.
I've been going to Zach once a month for the last six months and I always look forward to the appointment. He's easy to communicate with, his studio is clean and comfortable, and his massage is one-of-a-kind — truly magical hands. He always checks in about how I'm feeling and what areas need attention. I especially love how much stretching he works into the session. I always leave feeling loose and completely refreshed. He has a calm presence that makes you feel safe and relaxed. This is the real deal.
I booked a 90-minute session with Zach after several weeks of work stress piled up. The moment I settled on his table, I knew I'd made the right choice. His demeanor is calming and caring, and his skill is top-notch. That session was the most relaxed I've felt in a long time — I nearly fell asleep. Thanks, Zach. I'm coming back.
Zach carries a professional, calming, and caring way about him. His studio is spotless and well-appointed. My 90-minute session was exactly what I needed. He blends his advanced skills to match your body — mixing therapeutic strokes, stretching, and softer touches. He's friendly and takes genuine care. He's my new favorite therapist.
I've scheduled multiple massage sessions with Zach when he visits my city and usually reach out to find out when he'll be around. Zach is always professional and respectful during the massage. He asks about problem areas and works to release pressure and stress, especially in my shoulder and neck. His demeanor is positive and calming. He makes you feel like an old friend and does everything to help you relax and step away from life for a while. I recommend him highly if you're looking for a great relaxing massage. He's one of the best and you won't be disappointed.
I found Zach through MasseurFinder and what a great find he turned out to be. Very professional, polite, and easy to work with. He started by asking what areas needed focus and spent the rest of the time helping me relax. He paid careful attention to pressure — not too much, not too little — and customized everything to me and what I wanted. From the pre-massage stretches to the ones after, his skill really came through. I'd absolutely rebook him. He's truly one of a kind.
From the moment I walked in, Zach's calm demeanor, spotless studio, and professionalism impressed me. I booked 90 minutes but extended to two hours — so worth it. One of the best massages I've ever had. He's conversational in a way that keeps you relaxed rather than interrupting the calm. The overall effect was extremely effective. Can't recommend him more and I'll definitely be back soon.
I had a ninety-minute massage with Zach while he was in Phoenix. His work was thorough and careful. He recognized that my upper back and shoulders held most of my stress and he took time to work out the tightness there, freeing up my movement. He worked those areas patiently and it never hurt. The whole experience was refreshing and relaxing. By the end I was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. I recommend him highly to anyone looking for an experienced massage therapist and will book with him again next time he's in town.
Everything with Zach was easy and comfortable from start to finish. Communication was seamless. His location is simple to find with free parking in a safe area. He asked what I needed and his studio was clean and ready. He worked through each area, adjusting pressure as my body responded. About two-thirds through he had me flip to finish on my back. As someone who travels frequently for work and lays over in Chicago, I found my regular therapist. Thank you.
I saw Zach when he was visiting my city and it was very easy to set up an appointment. He greeted me professionally and the massage itself was excellent. He used a range of techniques from long flowing strokes to focused work on specific muscle groups and trigger points. Before we started, he asked if there were areas needing special attention. I box twice a week so my usual tight spots are upper back and glutes, and he worked those areas really well. The whole experience was great — relaxing but also therapeutic, a nice blend of Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Thank you.
Zach blends therapeutic massage with stretching and lighter touch in a way that adapts to what your body needs. He takes a kind and thoughtful approach, really listening to how you're feeling. His studio is cozy with nice artwork. Zach absolutely finds the spots that need attention. I recommend him highly.
Zach exceeded everything I expected. I often struggle to actually relax into a massage, but not with him. He put me at ease right away, asked what would help, then used his training and natural feel for the work to deliver a really excellent session. Easy to talk to, plenty of free parking nearby, clean and well-kept space. I've been three times now and it's always the highlight of my week. Do yourself a favor and book.
I've been seeing Zach frequently for over a year and I recommend him highly. He responds quickly to messages, is professional, and has a calming and friendly personality. When you arrive, he's kind and thoughtful, asking all the right questions before getting started. His touch is magical and the experience only improves from there. He checks in several times to make sure the pressure feels right and that he's focusing on the areas you need. I love the stretching he builds into the massage. We often spend the whole session talking like old friends. It's an absolutely wonderful experience each time. I always book the 90-minute session and you won't regret it. His hands are incredible.
For the past six months I've had standing 90-minute appointments with Zach twice a month and I look forward to each one. His personality is exactly what helps me relax and zone out, plus his hands are truly magical. I always feel like a new person after a session. Beyond the excellent massage itself, he's easy to talk with, there's good parking near his studio, and his space is clean and welcoming. Book with him. You won't regret it.
This was my first massage with Zach and definitely not my last — I've already booked again. It was wonderful from first contact through the end of the session. He was easy to work with, gave clear directions, and was respectful both over text and in person. The massage itself was fantastic. Several times I nearly drifted off to sleep. He asked what I needed and listened to my trouble spots and goals, then he delivered exactly that. He could sense I wanted to zone out so after some chat to start, he gave me the quiet I needed. My only regret is not booking the two-hour session. Don't miss this.
I had the pleasure of having Zach work on me earlier this month and it was one of the best massages I've ever had. We scheduled a 90-minute session at my place and he arrived right on time with his table. I shared my goals about range of motion and shoulder tendinitis and he thoroughly addressed both. Zach has a natural ability for muscle and joint work. He applied the right pressure and paced himself so he could maintain deep work from start to finish. He sets a high bar and I'm grateful for the experience.
I was visiting Chicago for a few days and desperately needed a massage. Zach and I discussed what would work best for me, and from the moment I arrived, he was welcoming and friendly. His space was immaculate and the music so soothing. His massage was incredibly thorough — firm yet gentle, and he found every tight spot and stretched me out too. I've had regular massages back in DC and never felt this good. The hour flew by and I wish I'd booked 90 minutes. His touch balanced strength with care, and the whole experience was wonderful. Next time, definitely longer. He's charming and a great conversationalist. Worth the trip.
I reached out to Zach while in town for work, stressed and worn out. He fit me in the same day. His studio is easy to find, he communicates clearly, and he's intuitive and knowledgeable with a warm personality. My 60-minute appointment relaxed me so much that I asked mid-session to extend. Both my body and spirit felt restored. Thank you.
I don't usually write reviews, but this one needed to be written. The moment I entered Zach's studio, I felt calm. The music, light, temperature — everything was right. By the time my face touched the bolster, I was already heading toward deep relaxation. His methods are intuitive and I didn't need to explain much. I really valued the environment and the whole experience. I'll definitely see him again. You were exactly what this tired and stressed body needed.
Zach is intuitive and intentional in how he works, and genuinely a lovely person. He creates a deeply relaxing environment where you feel looked after from start to finish. He asks thoughtful questions and listens with real attention, balancing communication with his strong sense of what your body needs. Tension and pain that I arrived with are completely gone by the end. The experience leaves you grounded and feeling taken care of. I give him a 10 out of 10.
