Training at the New School for Massage in Chicago opened my eyes to what touch can actually do. That was 2016, and I've spent every year since then learning what my hands and training can accomplish. Over seven years working with clients across Chicago, I've developed a real skill for reading muscle tension and knowing exactly how much pressure will release it without leaving you sore the next day.
I work with deep tissue, myofascial release, neuromuscular technique, trigger point, and sports massage — but honestly, I don't think in terms of rigid categories. Every person who gets on my table has a body that's different, with its own story and its own needs. Before we start, I ask you what's bothering you. During the session, I check in. If I find a spot that's holding a lot of tension, I stay with it, work it out properly. You should feel the difference right away — less restriction, more range of motion, a sense of being grounded.
I work in my studio here in Chicago, and I also offer mobile massage throughout the surrounding area if you'd rather have me come to you.
