About

Over 21 years of full-time practice have taught me that every body tells a story, and every session is a chance to listen deeply. I started my massage training at Heritage College in Kansas City back in 2005, spending two years learning techniques from acupressure to shiatsu, myofascial release to craniosacral work. But the real education came from thousands of clients—from runners with tight hips to desk workers with tension locked in their shoulders, from people recovering from surgery to those seeking relief from chronic headaches and workout injuries.

In 2016, I earned my Registered Nurse credential from Penn Valley in Kansas City. That training shifted something in how I work. Now when you're on my table, you're talking to someone who understands your medications, your exercise routine, your mental health picture. I can discuss nutrition or listen to what your body's been through. Or, if you'd rather just take a mental vacation in a quiet space, that's what you get.

I use intuition alongside technique. Every massage is different because every person is different. I'll move from long, flowing strokes head to toe to deep tissue work, stretching, range-of-motion work—whatever your body needs that day. I work with all ages, all sizes, all body types. I'm LGBTQ friendly and I'm here to meet you where you are, whether that's a light Swedish touch or pressure deep enough to release what's been holding you.

My studio in midtown Kansas City has a heated table, private restroom, shower access, and free parking. If you'd rather I come to you, I serve Kansas City and surrounding areas within a 25-mile radius, arriving with my own table and equipment. I'm open 5 a.m. to midnight, every day. And I stand behind my work: you'll be satisfied with your massage, or you don't pay. That's not marketing—that's how I've always worked.

Bill from Georgia visited Kansas City and Micah fit him in after Thanksgiving dinner despite his family commitments. Bill knew from Micah's credentials he'd be skilled, and the massage exceeded expectations—Micah worked out all the tension Bill was carrying. The studio felt warm and welcoming, and Bill even had a chance to meet Micah's wife Tiffany and learn about their art. Bill called him one of the best massage therapists he's ever experienced and plans to return on his next Kansas City visit.

A Florida client had Micah travel to her home for a 90-minute mobile massage. Scheduling was simple via text. Micah arrived on time, set up quickly, and immediately delivered the right pressure—making him her new favorite therapist. She preferred silence during the massage and Micah sensed this without needing to be told. His well-traveled background and full-time commitment to massage as a career were evident throughout the session. She has referred him to several friends.

Hemasseur's Take

Clients consistently praise Micah's intuitive ability to read their body's needs without unnecessary conversation, his exceptional strength combined with therapeutic focus, and his clinical knowledge as a Registered Nurse. His work is sought out repeatedly by clients who travel and compare him to other therapists in different cities—none match his technique, presence, or professionalism. Long-term clients report that each session improves upon the last, and both local and out-of-area visitors credit him with providing the best massage experience they've had.

What sets Micah apart is his rare combination of 21 years of full-time practice, nursing training, and genuine attunement to what each person needs in the moment, whether that's deep pressure, stretching, quiet space, or conversation.
