About
Nineteen years in this work has taught me something most people don't expect: the best massage happens when you understand what's really going on — not just in the body, but in the person lying on the table.
I've been doing this since 2009, when I finished my certification at the Institute of Therapeutic Massage in Newark. That same year, I studied Trigger Point Therapy at the Swedish Institute in New York. But what shifted everything was going deeper. In 2015, I spent time in Chiang Mai learning Thai Massage, and I became a Reiki Master. I meditate every day — it's the foundation of my practice, the thing that lets me actually listen to what your body needs.
I work right here in Union, New Jersey, and I'm happy to come to you too. I serve Union and the surrounding areas up to 25 miles out. My clients know I'm not just moving my hands around. I ask what's happening in your life, where you hurt, what you're carrying. Then I blend whatever techniques will help most — deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point work, Reiki, Thai, lomi lomi, reflexology, sports massage. I'm a bi guy honored to work with the LGBTQ community, and I work with straight folks too. I'm chilled, friendly, and I genuinely love what I do. It takes the same focus and care I put into my Master's degree.
I offer body trimming, cupping, meditation coaching, nutrition consulting, personal coaching, and personal training alongside massage. Studio or mobile, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day. Ask me about discounts for prepaid packages, military veterans, students, and law enforcement.

Testimonials
I've had many massages at different places, and what makes Mark's sessions stand out is how he stays spiritually connected to you the whole time. He meditates during the work and builds a real connection with you early on, which takes the whole experience to another level.
I went to Mark for Thai Massage to deal with recurring pain in my glutes, legs, and calves. He was looking for knots and went very deep into the work. It was intense but it worked — I'm pain free now.
I was referred to Mark through a doctor's office while looking for help with injuries and chronic pain from an old accident. When I explained my situation, we discussed his different massage options. His Reiki work surprised me with how potent it was — warm waves moving through my whole body. The Deep Tissue and Thai Massages broke apart my knots and shifted my fascia, which gave me real relief from nerve pain. This is where you go if you want meaningful healing, not just a rub down. He's flexible with scheduling too.
Finding a good massage therapist is personal, and plenty of people claim to know what they're doing when they don't. Mark actually does know. I've been his client for more than nine years. He's not just skilled but constantly picking up new techniques. He's a good person and we always have real conversations. I've tried many massage people over the years, and I feel lucky to have found him. If you want the real deal, Mark is your person.
I'd struggled with low back pain since 2017, which affected my sitting and walking. After starting regular sessions with Mark in 2021, my back issues have nearly gone away and my mental health improved significantly. His techniques are complex and spiritual in a way I hadn't experienced before. A friend I referred who's a serious runner now considers Mark essential to his training routine.
I've been coming to Mark for five or six years and tried other massage therapists before him, but none gave me the satisfaction I get here. He has a gift for finding the actual source of the problem. He always asks what's happening in your life and body, then starts working. I'm consistently amazed at how quickly he locates what needs the most attention. That's why I haven't looked elsewhere. The space is peaceful and calm, and you feel like your time matters.
Hemasseur's Take
Across his client reviews, Mark stands out for combining deep technical skill with genuine listening — he asks about your life and body before beginning, then applies whatever blend of deep tissue, trigger point, Thai, and Reiki work will help most. Clients report lasting relief from chronic back pain, nerve pain from old injuries, and recurring muscle tightness, often after years of struggling or trying other therapists. His spiritual approach to massage — the meditation, the Reiki, the intentional presence — comes through consistently as the thing that transforms a session from physical relief into something more healing.
