Twenty-five years of hands-on practice has taught me what actually works. When you've been working with bodies for that long — first as a therapist, then as an instructor training the next generation — you learn to listen to what a person needs before they even say it out loud.
I moved to Charlotte recently from Austin, where I built a loyal clientele over decades. Now I'm settled in my private studio in the Newell area, close to the University, and I'm ready to work with you.
My approach blends Swedish relaxation with deep tissue work, woven through with Esalen bodywork principles. I bring aromatherapy and stretching into sessions when it serves you. Being an artist has made my hands intuitive — I know how to find tension and release it without ever pushing too hard. I work with men of all body types, and as someone part of the LGBTQ community, I create a space where you can be completely yourself.
You'll walk into a warm, welcoming room. The heated massage table is there waiting. Candles burn softly. Music plays at a level that lets your nervous system settle. I'll ask what your body needs, and then we'll work together to give it that.
