About
Training at Asheville School of Massage and Yoga gave me a foundation, but it's the nine years since that have really taught me how to listen to a body. Over that time, I've logged thousands of hours learning bodywork and different techniques—everything from Alexander Technique to trigger point release—because every person who comes through my door is different, and tension lives in each of us in its own way.
I've learned that we all carry tension somewhere. My job is to help you find how that tension can be moved out of you. I use deep pressure and light pressure to get those kinks and stuck energy to move. Some days that means working slowly into a knot. Other days it means meeting you in that softer space where your body can finally let go.
What's most important to me is entering into places of deep relaxation. That's the space where letting go can easily occur. Whether you're coming to my studio here in Weaverville, North Carolina, or you'd prefer I come to you—I serve a 50-mile radius around town—I bring that same quality of attention. You'll find the table warm, the room quiet, and the work shaped entirely by what your body needs that day.
