About

Twenty-three years of full-time massage work has taught me what actually works. I've spent more than two decades working with dancers, weight lifters, desk workers, and everyone in between, learning how different bodies hold tension and what it takes to release it.

My approach isn't locked into one technique. I blend sports massage, Swedish, trigger point therapy, and stretching into sessions that match what your body needs on that day. Whether you're recovering from training, managing chronic tightness, or just need to decompress, I adjust the pressure, pace, and focus to suit you.

I work from my private studio in Shavertown, Pennsylvania, where you'll find a heated massage table, soft lighting, and quiet. The space is clean and designed to help you actually relax. I also come to you if that's easier, serving Shavertown and surrounding areas. Most of my clients are men, but I work with everyone who walks through the door.

Testimonials

It was my first massage experience, and I was really impressed. The session felt deeply relaxing, and I even drifted off to sleep partway through. Joseph made me feel completely at ease and let me just be—no pressure, no rush. I'd absolutely recommend him to anyone thinking about trying massage.

FAQ

What's the difference between sports massage and trigger point therapy?

Sports massage focuses on muscles used in athletic activity and recovery from training, using broader strokes and movement to improve circulation and flexibility. Trigger point therapy targets specific tight knots within the muscle itself, using sustained pressure to release them. I use both depending on what your body needs.
