About
Twenty-three years of working with clients' bodies teaches you something profound: relief isn't one-size-fits-all. Since 2003, I've been refining how to listen to what each person needs—whether that's the gentle sustained pressure of Swedish massage, the focused intensity of deep tissue work, or the precision of trigger point release.
I trained at the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, completing a rigorous 1000-hour program that gave me a solid foundation in anatomy and technique. But the real education came from time on the table with hundreds of clients. You learn to feel what's tight, what's guarded, where someone's been holding stress or injury. You learn how to adjust pressure mid-session because the body tells you what it needs.
My studio in El Paso sits near downtown and UTEP, convenient whether you're coming from work or home. I also travel within a 25-mile radius for mobile sessions, so if you'd rather have a massage at your place or hotel, I can bring the table and the same quality work to you.
What I've discovered over these two decades is that people respond when they feel respected and understood. I work with acupressure, aromatherapy, hot stone, myofascial release, sports massage, and several other modalities. I can layer techniques into a single session—whatever serves your body best. Chronic pain, post-injury recovery, athletic soreness, simple stress relief—I've helped clients through all of it.
But the space itself matters too. You'll walk into a clean, well-designed studio with a heated table, soft lighting, music, and privacy. You'll be met with warmth. I treat everyone the same way: with genuine respect and the intention to understand what brought you in and what you hope to feel when you leave.
If you're sore from the gym, carrying tension from your desk job, dealing with sciatic pain, or just need to decompress, let's talk about what would help. Reach out to schedule a session.

Testimonials
I booked Richard twice during a business trip to El Paso—once in-studio and once at my hotel. I'd been dealing with sciatic pain, and his deep tissue work gave me real relief both times. He knows how to hit the right spots and I'll definitely schedule with him again next time I'm in town.
I had my first massage with Richard and found him to be very professional and welcoming. The massage itself was both relaxing and effective at releasing my muscle stiffness.
After I started hitting the gym, I was pretty sore and hadn't had a massage in years. Ricardo was excellent—super friendly, approachable, and really made me feel welcome. His studio was clean and well designed. I'm definitely going back.
Richard has strong hands and really knows how to find problem areas and work out the tension. He's the best.
This was the best massage I've had in El Paso and Fort Bliss. I'll absolutely be returning.
Richard knows exactly what he's doing. He hits all the right spots and is very attentive about making sure you're comfortable and enjoying the session. He gave me my first massage and I've been coming back ever since.
Richard consistently delivers great massages and has a real knack for getting my muscles to relax.
