About

Deep tissue, Swedish, Ayurvedic work, energy balancing, assisted stretching — the blend matters as much as the pressure. After more than 10 years working with clients across Los Angeles, I've learned that real relief comes when you listen to the body first and apply technique second. That's the foundation of every session in my Sherman Oaks studio.

I work with what your body needs on the day you arrive. Some clients come in tight from running or desk work and need strong, sustained pressure through the knots. Others carry stress differently — held in their shoulders, their breath, their nervous system. I've trained in Ayurvedic bodywork and energy-balancing methods that let me read where tension lives and what kind of touch will actually release it, not just move it around.

My studio is a real space for rest. Soft lighting, candles, clean air, water waiting for you. No fluorescent hum, no rush. I work in-studio here in Sherman Oaks, and I also travel throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas with my table and setup, so if coming to me isn't practical, I come to you.

The clients I work with longest tend to be athletes in recovery, people dealing with chronic pain or stress, and anyone who's learned that a good massage isn't a luxury — it's maintenance. I welcome everyone: all backgrounds, all identities, all bodies. This space is judgment-free and professional from the moment you contact me.

If you're burned out, tense, or just need to feel like yourself again, that reset starts with a conversation about what your body's telling you. Let's book.

I recently had treatment from an exceptional massage therapist who's made a real difference in my life. His commitment to his work is clear in every session, and I'm grateful for the relief he's brought to my shoulder pain. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. He listens to my concerns and shapes each massage to address my specific problems. His deep knowledge of anatomy and method, refined through his studies in India, truly sets him apart. You can feel his care for healing and helping others. After just a few sessions, my shoulder pain improved significantly. His skilled hands work out tension and knots that had been bothering me for months. The combination of his knowledge and intuition makes each visit feel like a personalized healing experience. If you want a massage therapist who is skilled and genuinely cares about your health, I wholeheartedly suggest him. He is nothing short of special.

FAQ

Does Alex offer mobile massage in Los Angeles?

Yes. I travel throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas within a 25-mile radius, bringing my own table and everything needed for a full session at your home or office. Mobile sessions run $170 for 60 minutes, $220 for 90 minutes, or $270 for 120 minutes. Same-day appointments are often available — just reach out.

What's the difference between deep tissue and Swedish massage?

Swedish massage uses longer, flowing strokes to ease tension and improve circulation — great if you want relaxation without intensity. Deep tissue targets knots and chronic tightness with sustained, firmer pressure. I blend both depending on what your body needs. We'll talk through your preference before the session starts.

How much does a 90-minute massage cost in Los Angeles?

A 90-minute session costs $160 in my Sherman Oaks studio or $220 if I come to you. That includes whatever combination of techniques makes sense for your body — deep tissue, Swedish, stretching, scrub work, energy balancing.

Is Ayurvedic massage different from regular massage?

Ayurvedic massage draws on traditional Indian healing methods and focuses on balancing energy flow, releasing emotional holding patterns, and working with the body's subtle systems alongside the physical muscles. It's often slower, more meditative, and uses rhythm and intuition alongside technique. I weave this into sessions for clients who feel drawn to it.

Can I book a same-day massage appointment in Los Angeles?

Often yes. I keep some same-day slots open both at the studio and for mobile bookings. Response times are usually quick — contact me directly and I'll let you know what's available. Peak times fill faster, but I work hard to fit clients in when they need it.

What should I expect during my first massage session?

We'll start with a conversation about what brought you in — pain, tension, stress, athletic recovery, whatever it is — and what pressure level feels right for you. I'll ask questions about your body and listen. During the massage, you're fully covered except the area I'm working on. The room stays calm, music soft, temperature warm. Afterward, take your time getting up. Many clients book again right away.

Do you offer body scrub treatments?

Yes. Body scrub sessions remove dead skin and leave your skin soft and refreshed. I often combine a scrub with massage in the same session — it's a spa-quality experience that takes 60 to 90 minutes. Clients consistently report feeling like they've been truly cared for.

What payment methods do you accept?

I take cash, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Visa. Book and pay however is easiest for you.
