About

The Advanced Clinical Massage training I completed at the San Francisco School of Massage in 2013 gave me a foundation, but thirteen years of working with clients across Los Angeles, the surrounding areas, and beyond has taught me what really matters: listening to your body and meeting it where it is.

I've spent over a decade learning how different bodies move, hold tension, and respond to touch. My big strong hands are gentle when required. I start every massage with traditional Swedish techniques, those long sweeping strokes that calm the nervous system before I dive into deeper tissue work. Whether you're carrying stress in your shoulders, recovering from a sports injury, or just need someone who understands how to work with all body types, I've got the experience and the modalities to help.

I work fluidly between Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology, and Muscle Energy Techniques. I also incorporate active stretching, Reiki, and energetic chakra focusing for clients who want that dimension. If you're interested, I offer CBD oil (no THC) and Theragun therapies as add-ons.

Serving Los Angeles and surrounding areas within 25 miles. I split my time between my secondary home here in Los Angeles (about two weeks each quarter) and my home base in Bullhead, Arizona, near Las Vegas. Whether you book in-studio or want me to come to you, advance notice is always best, but don't hesitate to call. I'm happy to work with your schedule and find time that fits.

Yo hablo un poco español. And whether you're gay, straight, or somewhere in the middle, the important thing is that you feel comfortable in my hands. I've worked with people at every stage of recovery and every walk of life. That's who I am.

I'm fully vaccinated for Coronavirus, Meningitis, and Monkeypox. Let's get you feeling better.

Testimonials

I started receiving massage from Armond about six years ago and would see him weekly if my schedule allowed. He's comfortable and skilled working with all body types—I know because I've lost over 70 pounds since our first visit. His touch is both soothing and strong, and he's intuitive about what the body needs. Working in entertainment, I appreciate his flexibility with early and late sessions, though I plan ahead. He's a gift to my body and my recovery.

After my knee surgery from a sports injury, Armond became part of my physical therapy recovery team. His sessions helped me regain mobility faster than others further along in their recovery. As we worked on my surgical areas, I started adding time for other problem spots, including a chronically stiff shoulder. Now that I'm moving away, I'm uncertain I'll find the same level of care, but I plan to see him whenever I'm back in Los Angeles. Those hands have real power.

Armond was exceptional. This was our third visit, and his work gets better each time. His massage was transcendent, combining energy and chakra work with his technical skill. He adapted to my needs and used his range of techniques to release long-term tension I've carried for years. I hope he returns to Phoenix regularly.

Hemasseur's Take

Clients consistently report that Armond locates and releases tension in areas other therapists miss, with particular praise for his lower body and leg work that helps athletes and active people recover faster from injury. His combination of strong technical skill with intuitive, energetically aware touch produces noticeable improvements in mobility, pain reduction, and overall body sensation—with many clients extending sessions because the results speak for themselves. What sets him apart is his adaptability: he works confidently with all body types, adjusts to different recovery stages, and creates a sense of safety and professionalism that keeps people returning over years and recommending him across multiple cities.

FAQ

How much does deep tissue massage cost in Los Angeles?

I charge $170 for a 60-minute deep tissue session in my Los Angeles studio. Longer sessions run $200 for 75 minutes and $225 for 90 minutes. I also offer mobile massage within 25 miles of Los Angeles at the same rates, so I can come to your home or office.

Is there a mobile massage therapist serving Los Angeles?

Yes, I provide mobile massage throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas within a 25-mile radius. I bring my table, aromatherapy, and curated music to your location. Advance scheduling works best, but call me and I'll do my best to fit you in.

What's the difference between Swedish and deep tissue massage?

Swedish massage uses long, flowing strokes to relax the nervous system and improve circulation, while deep tissue targets muscle knots and tension using firmer pressure. I always begin sessions with Swedish strokes before moving into deeper work, so you get both the calming benefit and the targeted relief.

Do you offer same-day appointments in Los Angeles?

Advance scheduling is best, but I'm happy to help. Give me a call and I'll check my schedule—I try to work as close to on-demand as possible depending on availability.

Can you help with lower back pain and leg tension?

Absolutely. I specialize in sports massage, trigger point therapy, and muscle energy techniques that are especially effective for lower body work. Several clients have mentioned that my lower bodywork is where I really shine, and I've helped active people like cyclists manage leg care and recover from injuries.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash, Venmo, Square Cash, Apple Pay, and all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Choose whatever's most convenient for you.

Are there discounts available for regular clients?

Yes. I offer discounts for prepaid bodywork packages, and special rates apply to military veterans and active military, students, entertainment industry professionals, massage therapists, and SAG/Equity members. Ask me about what works for your situation.
