About
Twenty-four years of working with bodies has taught me that every person who comes through the door brings their own story—their own tension, their own goals, their own way of healing. I started at Massage School Los Angeles back in 2001, then went on to earn my BS in Kinesiology from USC, and I've spent the decades since learning modalities that actually work: Graston Technique for stubborn adhesions, fire cupping to move stagnant circulation, somatic therapy for the nervous system, Esalen-style strokes for depth without force.
My studio sits in the Warm Sands neighborhood of Palm Springs, and I'm proud to serve the LGBTQ+ community alongside everybody else who walks through that door. The studio is private, quiet, and set up the way I'd want to receive a massage myself—soft towels, a heated table that feels like you're floating, clean air, a private bathroom, and custom aromatherapy blends if you want them (or fragrance-free, no problem at all).
What matters to me is listening. Your body tells me what it needs. Maybe you're coming in for targeted work on an old sports injury. Maybe you need deep tissue because you carry stress everywhere. Maybe you're looking for a nervous system reset—something somatic, something slow, something that lets you process what your body's been holding onto. I'll design the session around that. I bring zero ego into the room, no rush, no attitude. Just calm, grounded energy and the skills to help you feel your best—physically, emotionally, and energetically.
I also offer body scrubs, mud treatments, cupping sessions, meditation coaching, and yoga instruction if those appeal to you. But the foundation is always the bodywork itself, tailored to what you actually need.

Testimonials
I texted Chris on my way to Palm Springs and he had availability that same day. He greeted me warmly and put me at ease immediately. His massage space feels like a spa with low lights, quiet music, and a subtle, non-intrusive aroma. He asked about injuries and areas to focus on, then got to work—so skillfully that I almost fell asleep. He's clearly talented and knows his craft, and he made me feel genuinely welcomed. The session ended with warm towels that felt incredibly soothing. I usually book 60 minutes because I tend to stiffen around the one-hour mark with other therapists, but not with Chris—the time flew by and he kept me comfortable the whole way through. His table is incredibly thick and padded, like lying on a cloud. I'll absolutely come back and book longer next time. He's worth the drive.
I booked an afternoon session with Chris for somatic work and some intuitive adhesion release, and he delivered exactly what I needed. His touch is both grounded and highly attuned—it's clear he understands how to work with the body, not just on it. He went a bit over time but only charged for the agreed 90 minutes, which shows his integrity and professionalism. I'm definitely coming back.
I've been seeing Chris weekly since February for lymphatic drainage massage, and it's genuinely the best I've ever received—it's the reason I book every Friday, because it actually allows me to function through the weekend. He integrates fire cupping, stretching, and Graston technique into the work, and the combination helps the body remove toxins incredibly well. His signature massage leaves you free of discomfort and feeling fully restored. He's also generous with his time; even if he starts a few minutes late prepping, he makes up the time at the end without cutting short your session. His space rivals a commercial spa with a shower, bottled water, mood lighting, and calm music. I'd recommend him for any of his massage styles without hesitation.
Hemasseur's Take
Clients consistently report that Christopher's combination of technical skill and emotional presence sets him apart. People highlight specific outcomes: weekly lymphatic drainage sessions that allow them to function pain-free through the week, somatic work that reaches both physical and emotional holding patterns, and sports injury relief using Graston Technique and cupping integrated into longer sessions.
Across reviews, clients emphasize his generosity with time, his ability to listen to what the body actually needs rather than following a script, his spa-quality studio environment, and his calm, grounded demeanor. Even clients traveling from out of the area report the drive is worth it.
