About

Sixteen years of working with clients has taught me one clear thing: strong hands and real attention make all the difference. I'm a California Certified masseur trained at the Academy of Massage Therapy in Hackensack, and I've spent nearly two decades learning how to read what a body needs and deliver it without guesswork.

My studio is in Pasadena, and I also travel to clients throughout the area — serving Pasadena and surrounding neighborhoods within a 10-mile radius. Whether you come to me or I come to you, I use a full range of techniques. Kneading, gliding, stretching, compression, deep tissue work, trigger point release, reflexology, sports massage, Swedish — I don't pick one and stick with it. I customize pressure and method to what your body's telling me. Some days you need firm, steady work into tight muscle. Other days you need lengthening and mobility. I listen and adjust.

I welcome all ages and body types, with a special warmth for the gay and LGBT community and beyond. You'll find my studio clean, private, with a heated table, soft music, fresh water, and a shower. If you're coming to my space or I'm coming to yours, I bring the same care and skill. Check the reviews to see what others have felt walking out. I love what I do, and I look forward to making you feel exhilarated.

Testimonials

My first session with Erik exceeded all my expectations. I've dealt with chronic mid back pain for years and tried PT and chiropractic care without lasting results. Erik's knowledge of the pain patterns and his stretching techniques worked better than anything I've experienced. He was attentive throughout, kept checking on my comfort, and worked in a spotless, professional space. I highly recommend booking with him.

Erik is very intuitive as a massage therapist. I've had two sessions with him and he takes time to get to know you, understand your sore areas from physical work, and give you immediate relief. During quarantine, he came to my home and set up a mobile space outdoors, and both of us wore masks and followed all safety precautions. His skill and technique are incredible, backed by real strength. Great massage, highly recommended, especially if you're new to massage.

FAQ

How much does deep tissue massage cost in Pasadena?

Deep tissue massage in my Pasadena studio is $110 for 60 minutes or $140 for 90 minutes. If I travel to you within 10 miles, the rates are $150 for 60 minutes and $180 for 90 minutes. I accept cash, credit cards, Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle.

Is there a mobile massage therapist near Pasadena?

Yes, I offer mobile massage services throughout Pasadena and surrounding areas within a 10-mile radius. I bring my own table and equipment, along with music and a full range of techniques, straight to your home or office.

What massage techniques are best for chronic back pain?

I use a combination of deep tissue, trigger point release, and stretching techniques to address chronic back pain. During our initial consultation, I ask about your specific issues and pain history so I can focus on the areas and pressure that will actually help you.

Does Erik offer same-day or evening appointments?

Yes, I'm available Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 11:30 p.m., and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. I recommend booking in advance, but I do accommodate same-day requests when my schedule allows.

What makes your massage different from other therapists in the area?

I've been practicing for 16 years, trained at the Academy of Massage Therapy, and I don't rely on a single technique. I blend deep tissue, stretching, trigger point work, and other methods based entirely on what your body needs that day. My clients consistently mention the combination of firm pressure, skilled stretching, and real attention throughout the session.

Do you offer massage for sports injuries or athletic recovery?

Yes, I'm trained in sports massage and work regularly with clients recovering from injuries or managing the demands of athletic training. I use stretching, deep tissue work, and compression techniques to help you recover faster and feel stronger.

Can I book a massage at your Pasadena studio the same day I call?

Same-day appointments depend on my availability, but I do my best to fit clients in when possible. I operate Wednesday through Sunday with evening slots available until 11:30 p.m. most days, so there's usually flexibility if you reach out.
