About

Training at Massage School of Illinois from 2014 to 2015 taught me the fundamentals, but it was the years that followed—studying sports medicine at Santa Barbara City College, mentoring under therapists with 30+ years of experience, and working through over 5,000 sessions—that showed me what this work really means. I'm Gabriel, and I've been a massage therapist since 2017, now working out of my private studio in Hillcrest, San Diego.

What drives me isn't just technique, though I've spent years refining mine. It's the trust. When you come to my table, you're trusting me with your body and your time, and I don't take that lightly. I'm certified by the California Massage Therapy Council and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association because those credentials matter to me—they're part of how I stay accountable to you.

My background in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (I'm a Black Belt and have trained and competed around the world since childhood) gave me something most massage therapists don't have: an intuitive understanding of how the body moves, where it gets stuck, and how to work with it rather than against it. That knowledge lives in my hands now. I recently completed a workshop on somatic and soul-centered therapy because I believe physical touch goes beyond what happens on the surface. It's about meeting you where you are—whether you need deep pressure, gentle release, or something in between.

I work with all types of people using techniques ranging from acupressure and trigger point work to myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and everything in between. Each session is shaped by you and your goals. The time is yours, and my job is to follow what your body needs.

I'm also available for mobile massage throughout San Diego and surrounding areas within a 25-mile radius, so I can come to you. You can reach me during my hours—6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day—and we can talk about what's going on with you. That conversation matters to me as much as the work itself.

Testimonials

Gabriel is so skilled and thoughtful in what he offers. The stretching combined with massage therapy was thorough and I felt a real release in my muscles and joints. My body felt aligned and relaxed afterward. It was both therapeutic and rejuvenating. If you want someone who does more than a standard massage and really helps your body feel loose and pain-free, this is the place.
