About

Eighteen years of bodywork has taught me something simple: the body knows what it needs when you listen closely and have the skill to deliver. I've spent nearly two decades refining my craft, working in upscale day spas and internationally as a massage therapist and trainer in Berlin. That depth of experience—far beyond the standard 250-hour certification—shapes every session.

Healing touch runs in my family. Both my parents were physical and massage therapists, so I grew up understanding that real bodywork isn't just technique. It's intuition, anatomy, and a genuine commitment to leaving someone better than when they arrived.

I completed over 750 hours of professional training, studied Sports Performance Coaching at USA Weightlifting in Anaheim, and earned my CrossFit Level 1 certification through CrossFit San Diego. My massage therapy license came from Career Network Institute here in California. That foundation lets me work with athletes, people in chronic pain, and anyone seeking deep relief.

My private studio in Point Loma, San Diego, is designed for real comfort. You'll find a heated extra-wide table, soft lighting, calming music, aromatherapy, hot towels, and a quiet space where you can actually relax. I also serve clients throughout San Diego and surrounding areas with mobile sessions.

I blend techniques based on what your body needs: deep tissue work for tight muscles, acupressure and shiatsu for specific points, sports massage for recovery, trigger point therapy for persistent knots, lymphatic drainage when you need it. I also offer cupping and personal training if you're looking to strengthen alongside your bodywork.

I'm inclusive, body-positive, and judgment-free. LGBTQ+ clients and allies are warmly welcomed. Text me for the fastest booking response—advance sessions are recommended, though I do my best to fit people in.

Testimonials

Grant stands out as one of the finest massage therapists I've found in San Diego and across Southern California. Booking with him was straightforward since he communicated patiently and worked around my schedule. His pricing is fair for the region—many other practitioners charge considerably more yet don't deliver the same quality. It makes a real difference when you're working with someone who genuinely knows the craft. He's personable and easy to talk with, with no awkward moments. Absolutely one of my favorite therapists in the area, and I'm grateful for the experience.

Grant was exceptional—one of the finest massages I've had in over twenty years. Like others have noted, he's skilled at working with deep pressure and finding all the tight areas. His anatomical knowledge is evident, helping him focus on the correct muscle groups. My chronic back pain usually resists improvement, yet I felt like jelly when I left. I wholeheartedly recommend Grant to anyone seeking serious, knowledgeable bodywork.

Grant delivered one of the best massages I've received in over two decades. He handles deep pressure exactly the way I prefer it and zeroed in on every tight spot. His obvious knowledge of anatomy allowed him to target the right muscle groups with precision. I deal with chronic back pain that's normally hard to manage, but I walked out feeling completely loose. I can't speak highly enough of Grant's work.
