My path into massage started at Brown Aveda Institute in Cleveland back in 2012, where I learned not just the mechanics of the work but the real art of listening to a client's body. That education shaped how I approach every single session. I've been working with clients for the last 13 years, first in Ohio and now here in San Diego since 2018, and what I've learned in that time is simple: no two bodies are the same, and no two sessions should be either.
My approach to massage is intuitive. I read what your muscles are telling me, but I'm also reading you. Before we start, I want to know what brought you in. Are you carrying tension in your shoulders from stress? Is your lower back tight from sitting all day? Once you're on the table, you get 100 percent of your time—nothing deducted for setup, consultation, or changing. That hour or 90 minutes is entirely yours.
I work mainly with deep tissue and Swedish technique, adjusting pressure and pace based on what your body needs and what feels right for you. Some days that means firm, focused work on specific trouble spots. Other days it means slower, broader strokes that help you finally let go of stress you didn't even realize you were holding. I make sure you're feeling good before we start, throughout the session, and especially when you leave.
I have zero prejudices when it comes to who walks through my door. I treat everyone with respect and kindness, period. My studio is located in Mission Valley off Friars Road in the Hazard Center Shopping Plaza—there's plenty of free parking right in front, and you've got direct access to the trolley station if that works better for you. The space itself is clean, calm, and designed to help you relax from the moment you arrive. I've got a heated massage table, soft music, aromatherapy, hot towels, and everything you need to feel completely at ease.
If coming to the studio doesn't work for your schedule, I also offer mobile massage to homes and hotels throughout San Diego and surrounding areas, within about 150 miles. I bring everything I need—the same quality heated table, music, and aromatherapy—so you get the same experience without leaving your space.
