About
Fifteen years of hands-on practice have taught me what most people discover only once they've experienced it: Thai massage is not something done *to* you. It's a mutual practice, a conversation between two bodies where I become a kind of moving yoga partner, using my whole body—feet, elbows, knees, forearms, shins, ribcage—to help you find length, ease, and deep relief you didn't know was possible.
I've studied Thai, Swedish, craniosacral, and deep tissue with teachers and masters across Thailand and around the world. My formal training includes a 500-hour certification through McKinnon Body Therapy Center in Oakland. But what matters most is what happens on the table: you'll feel squished, squeezed, stretched, deeply cared for, and possibly dumbfounded by how your body responds.
I run clean and comfortable private studios in the Mission and Castro districts of San Francisco, open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. I also offer optional rounds of therapeutic flight—gravity-assisted floating massage that feels like nothing else. If you're interested in learning Thai massage yourself, I offer private lessons and workshops.
As a proud gay man, I feel blessed working with clients of all ages, ethnicities, body types, and abilities. I'm particularly honored to share this work with the LGBTQ+ community and our straight allies. I speak Spanish too, if that's your preference. Come relax and see what happens.

Testimonials
I've been visiting Daniel regularly since he started ten years ago. He started strong and has only gotten better, standing well above his peers now. His technique is solid and he adapts to what needs the most work. He's courteous, punctual, and welcoming. What truly sets him apart is that he's grounded himself and brings positive energy, peace, and loving kindness into every session. You walk out feeling calmed, cared for, healed, and whole in body and mind. Daniel is extraordinary.
Dan is one of those rare finds you stumble upon once in a while. He's been my go-to for several years, and no one else does what he does—work that's deep and inventive yet simultaneously present, sensitive, and connected.
My first Thai massage with Daniel was incredibly enjoyable, therapeutic, and calming. He made me love both the practice and the practitioner. After a long flight to Barcelona, the massage helped me recover, and his personality and conversation made it even better. He's not just skilled but clearly passionate about his work. I'll book him next time I'm in Barcelona or San Francisco.
As a 20-year massage professional myself, I was intrigued when a colleague mentioned Daniel. I showed up nervous, but that feeling disappeared as soon as I met him—warm, kind, and welcoming. Once we started, the way he moved around my body showed depth, confidence, and focus. What really caught my attention were his pauses, where he'd sink deeper into a point, showing he was present and reading the tissue correctly. The stretches felt smooth and easy. By the end, I felt transformed. I can't recommend him highly enough.
I knew I had to try Daniel after reading the reviews. He was very accommodating with my schedule. I was a bit nervous about Thai massage but that worry melted away. His studio is clean and warm. After meeting him, my anxiety vanished. He was on time, charming, and explained everything clearly. He noticed my nerves and talked with me until I felt comfortable. It was the most engaged massage I've had. His skill is top-notch and his touch felt personal. I left feeling changed. Daniel is a wonderful practitioner and a kind person. Highly recommended.
Dan's hands are divine. He worked through my entire body skillfully and wasn't afraid to apply the depth I wanted. The stretches he performed were masterful, and the head massage at the end was my favorite part. I'd absolutely book with him again.
I'm a professional dancer, competitive diver, and bodyworker with over 20 years of experience. Daniel is the best bodyworker of any kind I've ever seen, and I've had regular massage for over 30 years. While his training is extensive and ongoing, the intuition and talent he has are inborn. The depth, focus, and confidence he brings are unmatched. Thai massage at his level requires real trust to work well, and I trust him completely. I only return to therapists who excel in their field, and Daniel is my number one. I'm grateful to have him in my regular care routine. San Francisco is fortunate to have him among its top healers.

Clients consistently praise Daniel's technical skill, presence, and ability to read their body's needs with precision and care. Across multiple five-star reviews, people mention specific outcomes: feeling deeply stretched and mobile, relief after long flights and athletic strain, and a sense of being genuinely cared for rather than simply worked on. What distinguishes Daniel in clients' eyes is his grounding—the sense that he brings his whole self, positive energy, and loving attention to each session, making even nervous first-time clients feel safe and transformed.
