About
Over 25 years of working with clients' bodies teaches you something that no textbook can: every person hurts differently, and every person heals differently. I've performed more than 10,000 massages on all different body types, and that depth of experience is what allows me to find the pain points you didn't even know existed and work them out with real skill.
I trained in massage therapy at Aveda in Salt Lake City from 1992 to 1994, where I learned Swedish, deep tissue, and reflexology techniques that form the foundation of my work. Since then, I've spent decades refining how to blend those modalities together, reading a client's body, and knowing exactly when to shift from one approach to another. When you're on my table or in your home in San Francisco, you're working with someone who's done this long enough to understand that massage isn't one-size-fits-all.
I offer both in-studio and mobile appointments throughout San Francisco and the surrounding areas within a 25-mile radius. At my studio or at your home, I bring everything you need: a massage table, music to help you relax, quality oils and creams, fresh sheets and towels, and a shower if you want one after. Most clients have told me that my massage feels like pushing the reset button on their body. That's what I'm here to do.
My clients also know they can ask about spa packages that combine manicures, pedicures, and massage if they're looking to invest in a full day of care. I work with deep tissue, trigger point, sports massage, reflexology, and Swedish techniques—whatever your body needs. I'm available 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every single day, and the best way to reach me is by text. Just let me know you're inquiring about massage.
Testimonials
I got a wonderful massage from David and found him very thorough. He found areas of pain I wasn't even aware of and worked them out completely. He also helped stretch my knees, hips, and shoulders, and spent extra time on my neck and shoulders where I had the most tension. When I left, my pain was almost completely gone. He used just the right amount of oil so I didn't feel greasy afterward, checked in with me throughout the session, and was personable and funny. I'd absolutely recommend him.
David understands body mechanics at a deeper level than just knowing massage. Each session with him feels like a step forward in my health. After multiple sessions with him, I've seen a real reduction in my back pain and a noticeable increase in my range of motion. I highly recommend him.
I've been getting massages for a long time, and I can tell within ten seconds if someone knows what they're doing. David is the genuine article. He's well-trained in multiple massage techniques and wove them together throughout the session with real skill. He's a keeper.
