About
My training at East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland shaped how I understand the body's capacity to shift and heal. I completed an 800-hour massage therapy program there from September 2023 through December 2024, and before that, I spent time studying yoga at Pachananda in Austin. That foundation in both bodywork and breath has become central to everything I do now.
I've been working with clients here in San Francisco for three years, and I've come to believe that massage offers so much more than just relief. It can calm your nervous system, create actual physical change in the tissues, and provide something equally important: a safe space to receive touch without judgment. Whether you're carrying chronic tension, recovering from an injury, or simply need to feel more at home in your body, that matters to me.
My style is intuitive and trauma-informed. I build sessions on a foundation of myofascial release, deep tissue, and Swedish massage, but I also draw on structural integration, neuromuscular work, Thai massage, craniosacral therapy, and trigger point release. Your feedback during the session is essential. You're the expert on your own body, and I genuinely want to know what's working and what isn't. At the same time, if you need to sink into deep relaxation and let me guide the work, that's equally welcome.
I offer spa-quality bodywork both in my studio and mobile throughout San Francisco and surrounding areas. Sessions run 60, 90, or 120 minutes, and I'm available Tuesday through Friday from noon to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 2 to 7 p.m. I also teach yoga instruction if that's of interest. My goal is simple: help you feel more resilient, more aware, and more at ease in the life you're actually living.

Testimonials
Jon is excellent. He pays close attention and works to understand exactly what your body needs so he can shape each session accordingly. He's the best I've experienced, and genuinely a great person on top of it. I recommend him without reservation.
Jon has given me some of the most healing massages I've ever received. My sessions have focused on chronic back and shoulder pain, and the relief has been immediate and lasting. His intake process is straightforward, communication feels natural, and his technique balances targeted work with genuine relaxation. I noticed consistent pain reduction for days afterward.
I wholeheartedly recommend Jon. He communicates well, stays attentive to what's happening in your body, and each session leaves you experiencing your body differently or in a state of deep rest. It's a real loss that he's relocated from Portland to California, but folks out there are fortunate to have access to his work.
