About

My training at the World School of Massage and Holistic Arts, Skyline College, and the San Francisco School of Massage taught me the anatomy and technique that forms the backbone of what I do—but it was the ten years of working with real clients that taught me how to listen. Every body tells a story, and every session is different.

I work here in the upper Haight with clients who come in stressed, tight, or recovering from something. I blend Swedish massage, deep tissue work, and aromatherapy into sessions that meet you exactly where you are. A client once came in a ball of knots after the holidays; another struggled with neck pain for weeks. What they both needed wasn't a formula—it was attention, the right pressure, warmth, and someone who knew how to find the spots that matter.

I take time during intake to ask what's going on, how you like to be touched, what pressure feels right. I adjust the room temperature, the music, the oils. The California Massage Therapy Council recognizes my commitment to this work, and I take that seriously. When you leave, the goal is simple: you feel the knots have loosened, your mind is quieter, your body is balanced again.

I'm here in San Francisco and serve surrounding areas within 25 miles if you'd rather have the work happen at home. Either way, I bring the same care and technique.

I came to Juan stressed, tight, and aching after months away from my usual therapist. His upper Haight studio put me at ease immediately with its lighting, music, and aromatherapy. He asked thoughtful questions about what I needed and how I prefer to be worked on. His 90-minute massage was intuitive and skilled—he found every knot and worked with real knowledge of technique and pressure. I felt so comfortable in his hands that any worries about my body melted away. He knew exactly which points to address and did so with genuine talent.
