About

Pacific College of Health & Science in San Diego gave me a structured foundation in massage therapy, and that certification—earned in 2019—set the stage for what's become six years of working closely with people who carry tension, pain, and stress in their bodies. What I learned in school was technique. What I've learned since then, working with clients in my studio and in their homes, is how to listen to a body and adjust on the fly.

I'm Markus, and I work in San Francisco at my studio in Nob Hill, right at the corner of Pine and Leavenworth. I specialize in full-body Swedish and deep tissue massage, but I've built my practice around customization. Every person who comes to me—or who has me come to them—gets a session shaped around their specific needs. That might mean blending Swedish and deep tissue work. It might mean adding hot stone therapy, aromatherapy, sound therapy, or body trimming. I spend time before every session asking questions and listening, because the best massage isn't one-size-fits-all.

I welcome everyone into this space without discrimination. LGBTQIA+, non-binary, straight, all ages, all genders, all body types—I've worked with them all, and my goal is simple: create an environment where you feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Whether you book an in-studio session at my studio or request a mobile appointment (I serve San Francisco proper and can travel up to 25 miles), you're getting the same attention to detail and the same willingness to meet you where you are.

The work matters to me. I'm attentive, professional, and genuinely interested in helping your body recover and feel better. Text, call, or message me to set up your first booking. Looking forward to working on you.

What really stands out is how he varies his pressure throughout the session and maintains smooth, continuous contact. His technique and flow are exceptional, and I keep coming back because the results speak for themselves.

After dealing with low back pain from frequent work travel, I booked a session with Markus and was impressed from the booking process through the actual massage. He paid close attention to the pain areas I'd mentioned beforehand and the relief I felt walking out was significant. It was a treat, and I'll definitely schedule another session on my next San Francisco trip.
