About
Twenty-five years of hands-on practice has taught me that massage should do two things at once: feel deeply relaxing and create real change in your body. That's not a contradiction. It's the whole point.
I started my training at the New York Institute of Massage in Williamsville back in 2001, and I've spent the years since learning that results come from understanding what your body actually needs. Deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, sports recovery, hot stones, myofascial release—I use whatever technique fits. I'm also a licensed esthetician, which means I bring that same precision to facial work and mud treatments.
My studio in San Francisco's 94110 neighborhood is set up to feel like a real retreat. Heated table, candles, aromatherapy, good music, hot towels. I also work mobile, so if you'd rather I come to you, I serve San Francisco and surrounding areas. Either way, you'll be working with someone who's been at this long enough to know the difference between going through the motions and actually moving your body toward healing.
As a gay man and part of the LGBT community, I'm committed to building a space where everyone feels welcome and respected. You're safe here. Your time and money matter to me, and I promise you'll feel the difference.

Testimonials
I had the best massage of my life two weeks ago at Mike's place. The aromatherapy, hot stones, soothing music, and especially that deep tissue work removed so much tension and pain from my exhausted body. I wanted to share this testimonial because the quality and personal attention Mike brings as a certified therapist is exactly what people are looking for. He brings real care to every session. Thank you, Mike, for that totally relaxing experience.
From the moment Mike put his hands on my back, I knew I was with someone who really knows his craft. His philosophy about creating actual change in the body through massage was exactly what I needed. I was dealing with a torn labrum in my hip and still had leg and lower back pain, and I wanted someone who could help me heal as part of my self care. Mike worked carefully with those injured areas but in a way that also got my hip, back, and leg functioning closer to how they used to. After leaving his table, I felt lighter and movement came easier. I could feel my body moving back toward natural, healthy balance. I'm looking forward to more sessions.
I found Mike about a year ago and have been coming back every couple of months for bodywork. He's got a warm, charming way about him and really knows how many different massage techniques to draw from. Since I'm working through a couple of injuries and constantly picking up new aches, I love that he works methodically with his hands and body to stretch and realign me. I book 90-minute sessions so he has time to do deep work and light stretching both. His hot stones just make my muscles melt. The separate studio room in his apartment has all the spa touches—good music, professional setup, the whole experience. He's friendly, professional, and genuinely excellent at what he does.
I can't say enough good things about Mike and his massage work. He's my number one choice whenever I'm back in the city. Mike is professional and truly knows how to give an excellent massage. I honestly can't remember having a massage this good before. The hot stones and hot towels he uses during the session make it even better. Beyond the technical skill, Mike is a sweetheart who makes you feel totally comfortable and cared for. Pure bliss.
It was my first massage in a long time, and I was looking for relief from muscle spasms. After I told Mike about my strained muscle, he used a variety of techniques including deep tissue therapy to address what I needed. His style is distinctive, and I left feeling noticeably better. I recommend Mike's strong, professional massage.
I'd describe my time on Mike's table with these words: aromatherapy, hot stones, strength, and technique. His deep massage skills go really deep—he reaches every muscle fiber in my neck, back, and shoulders. At the same time, he uses sensory elements like hot stones that draw you into relaxation. The heat in those stones helped release all the tension in my back and shoulders. If you do high-intensity work or training, Mike knows how to work out those neck kinks, tight back muscles, and leg tension. Highly recommended.
