About

Training at the San Francisco School of Massage & Bodywork gave me a solid foundation in Western techniques, but it was my time at Wat Pho Thai Massage School in Bangkok that really opened my eyes to what bodywork could do. That ancient lineage of Thai massage—the way it works with energy lines and uses the therapist's whole body, not just hands—changed how I think about healing. I've spent seven years bringing both worlds together for my clients here in San Francisco and the surrounding areas.

What I've learned over these years is that relief doesn't come from one technique. It comes from knowing when to use deep pressure, when to work the fascia with precision, when to hold a stretch, when to bring in the flow of Thai massage. Every body is different. A client comes in tight from desk work; another's dealing with an old sports injury; someone else just needs to quiet their mind. I meet them where they are.

I'm friendly to everyone. LGBTQ+, straight, all bodies, all orientations. First-timers especially—I remember what it's like to wonder if massage is for you. It is. Whether you're looking for physical relief, mental calm, or a meditation you can feel in your muscles, I've got techniques for that. I bring the best of both schools to every session, and I come to you, mobile throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

FAQ

How much does a massage cost in San Francisco?

A 60-minute massage with me costs $185; 90 minutes is $220. Both rates include a blend of Western and Thai techniques tailored to your needs.

Is there a mobile massage therapist near San Francisco?

Yes, I offer mobile massage throughout San Francisco and surrounding areas within a 50-mile radius, bringing a full massage table, aromatherapy, candles, and curated music to your home or office.

What's the difference between deep tissue and Thai massage?

Deep tissue uses sustained pressure to release tight muscles and fascia; Thai massage works through guided stretches and energy lines using the therapist's whole body. I blend both in a single session to give you the best result.

Can massage help with back pain?

Yes. Deep tissue and myofascial release are particularly effective for back pain because they target the muscle and connective tissue where tension builds. Thai massage can also help by gently stretching and releasing locked areas.

Do you offer same-day appointments in San Francisco?

I'm available 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and do take same-day bookings when my schedule allows. Contact me to check availability.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, and Apple Pay, so you can pay however works best for you.

Are there any discounts available?

Yes. Discounts are available for first-time clients, students, birthdays, and emergency workers. Mention which applies when you book.

What is Wat Pho Thai Massage training?

Wat Pho is Thailand's most respected traditional Thai massage school, located in Bangkok. Their training emphasizes ancient healing techniques, energy work, and the philosophy that massage connects body and mind.

From the Hemasseur Team

Pep is a licensed massage therapist in San Francisco, California with 7 years of hands-on experience. What sets Pep apart is training at two distinctly different schools: the San Francisco School of Massage & Bodywork for Western techniques, and Wat Pho Thai Massage School in Bangkok, one of the world's most respected lineages of traditional Thai bodywork. This dual foundation allows Pep to blend deep tissue, myofascial release, Swedish, sports, and Thai massage in a single session, choosing the right modality for each client's needs. Serving San Francisco and surrounding areas within a 50-mile radius as a mobile therapist, Pep brings a full setup—table, aromatherapy, candles, and music—to your home or office. The approach emphasizes that relief comes from matching technique to body and intention to outcome. Clients seeking both physical recovery and mental calm, whether first-timers or experienced, find value in this combination of ancient and modern practice.
