About
At DePaul University in Chicago, I studied community psychology and learned something that shaped how I work with bodies today: healing happens in relationship, not isolation. That foundation led me to yoga, mindfulness meditation, and somatic practices like yoga nidra. Over more than a decade, I've taught thousands of people how to come home to their bodies through movement and stillness.
Now in my San Francisco studio, I blend that deep knowledge of yoga and somatic work with Thai yoga massage. This is where the real magic happens. Thai massage weaves together acupressure and yoga-like stretching, using gravity and my body weight to melt away the adhesions and tension you're holding. Whether we work on a floor mat or on my table (what I call "table Thai"), the goal is the same: to unbind your tight spots and bring your body rhythms back into harmony.
I craft the right recipe for each person who comes through my door. Some sessions begin with gentle movement. Others go straight to the table. Either way, I guide you toward stillness and release. I work with clients of all ages, backgrounds, body types, and movement abilities. If you're a runner, cyclist, or triathlete, you'll find someone here who understands the demands on your body. If you're part of the LGBTQ+ community, you'll find a safe, affirming space. I also offer yoga instruction, meditation coaching, and personal training for clients who want to deepen their practice beyond the massage.

Testimonials
I can't put into words how rewarding it's been to work with Steven. His extensive understanding of anatomy and movement has elevated my yoga practice far beyond what I could have achieved alone. Once Steven started weaving Thai bodywork into our yoga sessions, I felt increasingly grounded and present in my daily life. The way he combines yoga and Thai massage is truly distinctive, and his hands have helped me build a real connection to my body and mind. I'm thrilled about his new table massage offering, since his massage technique always leaves me feeling absolutely incredible for hours afterward.

FAQ
What is Thai yoga massage, and how is it different from Swedish massage?

Steven uses both approaches, including a table-based version he calls "table Thai."
