About
Over 16 years of working in spa settings across the Midwest, I've learned that the body speaks a language all its own. The tight knot in your shoulder, the stiffness in your lower back after a long week, the ache that won't quit—these are all signals. My time perfecting neuromuscular therapy and reflexology has taught me to listen to what your body needs and then deliver exactly that.
I graduated from the Cortiva Institute in Crystal Lake, Illinois in 2010, and I've spent the years since honing my craft with clients just like you. What started as deep tissue and trigger point work has grown into a fuller practice. I'm now trained in esthiology through Aveda here in Minneapolis, and I've completed certification as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I bring all of this into the studio.
My approach is simple: your massage is 100% catered to your specific needs. When you come in, we talk about what's tight, what hurts, where you need focus. I'll work with acupressure, Swedish technique, chair massage, or whatever combination serves you best. I use appropriate pressure—real force when you're stressed and tight, gentleness when you need it. Fresh sheets, a heated table, ambient music, hot towels, and aromatherapy create a welcoming, clean space where you can actually relax.
I also offer body scrubs, facials, mud treatments, waxing, and body trimming. Whether you're here for massage or skin care, this is a space where all are welcome. I'm proud to serve the LGBTQ community and everyone else walking through that door.
I work in my Minneapolis studio every day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and I also travel to clients within a 25-mile radius of the city. When you book, just give me your name and last initial, the specific day and time, and the service you're after.

Testimonials
Cody exceeded my expectations in every way. I've tried many massage therapists over the years and never had an experience this positive. The pressure and real force he used made a genuine difference—nothing compares if you're holding stress or tightness. A week later, my neck and shoulders still feel better, and my whole body moves freely again. I've scheduled recurring appointments to keep my body in check.
Cody is skilled and experienced, creating a complete experience with his calm voice, open presence, and capable hands. My two-hour session far surpassed what I expected. The initial foot soak, scrub, and reflexology work left my feet feeling better than ever. During the full-body massage, he tuned into exactly what needed attention and worked with just the right pressure to release my tightness and tension. I'm making this a regular practice.
I finally found a massage therapist who delivers the kind of massage I actually need. Working out daily, my muscles are often resistant to relaxation, but Cody's technique got into the deep tissue perfectly without pain. He was intuitive about what my body needed. I booked 90 minutes but I'm booking a full two-hour session next time.
When I visited the Twin Cities, Cody greeted me warmly and took time to understand what I was looking for. He started with a foot soak and massage that impressed me immediately, then moved into a full-body session where I let him know he could work anywhere. His hands responded perfectly to what my body needed. Cody ranks in the top three massage therapists I've ever experienced, and I'll definitely book with him again if I return to Minneapolis.
Hemasseur's Take
Clients consistently praise Cody for deep, effective pressure that reaches tight muscle tissue without causing pain—particularly valuable for people who work out regularly or carry chronic tension in the neck, shoulders, and back. His strength lies in tuning into exactly what each body needs and delivering appropriate force and technique, with several clients reporting lasting relief a week or more after their session.
Many reviewers also highlight the complete experience: the foot soak and reflexology work, the welcoming demeanor, the clean and comfortable studio environment, and his ability to work at the depth and intensity they've struggled to find elsewhere. Clients frequently return for recurring appointments or book longer sessions after their first visit.

A 60-minute deep tissue session in my Minneapolis studio is $140, or $180 if I travel to you within 25 miles. I also offer 90-minute and 2-hour options starting at $160 in studio and $200 mobile.

What's the difference between neuromuscular and trigger point massage?
Neuromuscular therapy targets muscle tension and nerve function to restore balance and movement; trigger point work focuses on specific tight knots that refer pain to other areas. I use both techniques based on what your body needs.

What payment methods do you accept?
I accept cash, Venmo, and Zelle for all appointments.
Is there a discount for massage therapists in Minneapolis?
Yes, I offer discounts for massage therapists. Reach out when booking and mention your profession.
