About
Twenty-five years of working with bodies—first as a movement educator, then as a licensed massage therapist for the past 18 years—has taught me that every person carries their story in their muscles. I learned that lesson early, studying Thai Yoga at Shantaya yoga healing arts in New York, training in barefoot Ashiatsu techniques, and later deepening my knowledge through Zero Balancing certification with the Zero Balancing Association in Brooklyn. Over these decades, I've learned to listen as much as I touch.
I work in a quiet studio in Brooklyn's 11238 neighborhood, but I also bring massage to you—serving Brooklyn and the surrounding 25-mile radius with the same care and presence I offer in my studio. My approach blends Swedish, Thai, and somatic-based techniques, but what matters most is the conversation we have at the start of each session. I ask questions. I listen to where you're holding tension, what your body needs right now, whether you're recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or simply seeking relief from the weight of daily stress.
The work itself is precise. I use my hands, forearms, elbows, and feet—weighted, steady pressure combined with gentle stretching and controlled movement. Many clients tell me they've noticed the Ashiatsu barefoot work I've built into sessions; it allows me to apply deeper pressure while keeping the body relaxed, not braced against force. Each session includes a clean, quiet environment, fresh linens, quality oils, and hot towels. The space matters. The aromatherapy matters. The way you're treated matters.
I'm also trained in Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, CranioSacral work, Acupressure, and Reflexology—techniques I layer together based on what your body is telling me. When it fits, I share simple guidance on movement, breathing, or plant-based approaches to support your care between sessions. Think of it as practical wisdom from someone who genuinely knows how bodies work.
All bodies are welcome here. I proudly serve the LGBTQ+ community. I'm trauma-informed and client-centered in every interaction. If you're a dancer, an athlete, someone dealing with acute or chronic pain, or someone who's simply forgotten what it feels like to be relaxed—I've worked with people like you, and I know how to help.

Antonio's mastery across multiple massage styles and alternative medicine allows him to weave techniques together in ways that create real healing. His visualization work around pain has been particularly powerful, helping me not just ease physical discomfort but truly understand and let go of it on a deeper level. Antonio's massages are genuinely calming and deeply relaxing. He respects exactly what you ask for and checks in regularly to make sure you're comfortable, which creates real peace of mind. He moves through each session without rushing, which really transforms the whole experience. He's also flexible with scheduling, often fitting me in even after my own long workday. I completely recommend him for anyone wanting personalized, attentive massage.
I've lived in New York for 22 years and gotten monthly massages for 15 of those. Antonio is genuinely one of the best I've ever had. He's incredibly professional and warm, and you can feel how seriously he takes his craft—his years show in his work. He addressed my lower back pain and I felt restored after our session. I'm already planning my next appointment.
Antonio's massages are like magic. His understanding of the body is exceptional and his techniques are creative and strong. I've had chronic lower back problems for years, and since working with Antonio, the pain and tension have dropped noticeably. He's warm and welcoming, which allows deeper therapeutic work to happen. He's ruined regular spa massage for me, and I'm grateful.
If deep tissue massage is what you need, Antonio is your person. He listens carefully to what you're looking for and creates an experience that's both calming and uplifting, leaving you with exactly the massage you needed—every time.
Finding a massage therapist who heals and transports you to peace at the same time is rare. Antonio is that rare find. He has deep technique and real body awareness, rooted in his training and his background as a dancer. He also knows that massage should be both therapeutic and pleasant—a real break from the world. I recommend him fully to anyone seeking expertise and heart.
Antonio expertly weaves different massage approaches into a single healing experience. I was struck by how he uses hands, feet, and limbs to move through the body's tension. He also pays close attention to the whole environment, carefully choosing aromatherapy and music to enhance the experience. Book a session with Antonio—you won't regret it.
Antonio delivered an excellent deep tissue massage that truly relieved my tight muscles and addressed exactly what I needed. The barefoot walking on my back and the stretching sequences added something special. He's professional and pleasant, the table is comfortable, and the space is clean. I'll absolutely return.
Antonio is a superb massage therapist I've returned to many times. He knows several different modalities and applies them based on what each client's body requires. He has the gift of knowing how to knead muscles so they genuinely relax and release, and by the end I feel fundamentally transformed. He's well-trained, thoughtful, and understands that each body is unique. He asks thorough questions before starting so he grasps my individual needs. He's strong, focused, and gives his complete attention during every session.
Antonio ranks among the finest massage therapists I've worked with. He's strong, intuitive, intelligent, and applies pressure across all the muscles intelligently. It's a wonderful experience and his studio feels genuinely comfortable. I recommend him to everyone. He's a kind and genuine person who delivers real bodywork—a totally excellent experience.
Antonio is extraordinary. He's intuitive, gentle and powerful at once, and leaves your body and spirit moving freely afterward. I was running on empty after overwork, and his massage and energy truly restored me. If you want healing and real nurturing massage, seek him out.
When I called Antonio, I was in significant pain. He went beyond typical sports massage and used trigger point work, stretching, and genuine compassion to unlock my frozen hips. I woke up the next day pain-free. Highly recommend.
Antonio has legitimate massage skills and knows exactly how to apply the right amount of pressure. I left with noticeably better mobility. He built a Thai walking bar for Ashiatsu work, which delivers deeper pressure in a whole new way. If you want to try something different, this modality is worth experiencing.
Antonio brings both wisdom and strength to his work, making safety and intuitive communication central to his practice. His deep knowledge of how the body moves and functions clears the way for genuine relaxation and healing. The 90-minute session is worth the time—there's something special about his presence.
Hemasseur's Take
Clients consistently praise Antonio's technical skill across multiple modalities and his ability to deliver specific results—many report significant relief from chronic lower back pain, frozen hips, and muscular tension after single sessions, with several noting improved mobility that lasted into the following day. Beyond technique, reviewers emphasize his warmth, intuitive communication, and the safety they feel in his care; his habit of checking in throughout the session and asking detailed questions beforehand makes each person feel genuinely heard and respected.
His signature Ashiatsu barefoot work appears frequently in testimonials as a standout experience—clients describe it as delivering deep pressure without the bracing effect of hand-only massage. Across reviews spanning years, a clear pattern emerges: people return to Antonio repeatedly, often describing their first massage as having "ruined" them for standard spa massage.
