About

Twenty-five years of working with bodies—first as a movement educator, then as a licensed massage therapist for the past 18 years—has taught me that every person carries their story in their muscles. I learned that lesson early, studying Thai Yoga at Shantaya yoga healing arts in New York, training in barefoot Ashiatsu techniques, and later deepening my knowledge through Zero Balancing certification with the Zero Balancing Association in Brooklyn. Over these decades, I've learned to listen as much as I touch.

I work in a quiet studio in Brooklyn's 11238 neighborhood, but I also bring massage to you—serving Brooklyn and the surrounding 25-mile radius with the same care and presence I offer in my studio. My approach blends Swedish, Thai, and somatic-based techniques, but what matters most is the conversation we have at the start of each session. I ask questions. I listen to where you're holding tension, what your body needs right now, whether you're recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or simply seeking relief from the weight of daily stress.

The work itself is precise. I use my hands, forearms, elbows, and feet—weighted, steady pressure combined with gentle stretching and controlled movement. Many clients tell me they've noticed the Ashiatsu barefoot work I've built into sessions; it allows me to apply deeper pressure while keeping the body relaxed, not braced against force. Each session includes a clean, quiet environment, fresh linens, quality oils, and hot towels. The space matters. The aromatherapy matters. The way you're treated matters.

I'm also trained in Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, CranioSacral work, Acupressure, and Reflexology—techniques I layer together based on what your body is telling me. When it fits, I share simple guidance on movement, breathing, or plant-based approaches to support your care between sessions. Think of it as practical wisdom from someone who genuinely knows how bodies work.

All bodies are welcome here. I proudly serve the LGBTQ+ community. I'm trauma-informed and client-centered in every interaction. If you're a dancer, an athlete, someone dealing with acute or chronic pain, or someone who's simply forgotten what it feels like to be relaxed—I've worked with people like you, and I know how to help.

I've lived in New York for 22 years and gotten monthly massages for 15 of those. Antonio is genuinely one of the best I've ever had. He's incredibly professional and warm, and you can feel how seriously he takes his craft—his years show in his work. He addressed my lower back pain and I felt restored after our session. I'm already planning my next appointment.

Hemasseur's Take

Clients consistently praise Antonio's technical skill across multiple modalities and his ability to deliver specific results—many report significant relief from chronic lower back pain, frozen hips, and muscular tension after single sessions, with several noting improved mobility that lasted into the following day. Beyond technique, reviewers emphasize his warmth, intuitive communication, and the safety they feel in his care; his habit of checking in throughout the session and asking detailed questions beforehand makes each person feel genuinely heard and respected.

His signature Ashiatsu barefoot work appears frequently in testimonials as a standout experience—clients describe it as delivering deep pressure without the bracing effect of hand-only massage. Across reviews spanning years, a clear pattern emerges: people return to Antonio repeatedly, often describing their first massage as having "ruined" them for standard spa massage.
