I've been working as a massage therapist for five years, and in that time I've developed a technique that draws directly from European massage traditions. Growing up in Europe, I learned that massage isn't one-size-fits-all. Every body is different — different shapes, different needs, different ways of holding stress. What works for one person's shoulders might be all wrong for another's lower back. So I trained myself to read what each client needs in the moment, to adjust pressure from deep and precise work to softer, flowing strokes, all without causing discomfort.
I recently relocated to the United States, and I've brought that approach with me to Brooklyn. My studio here is organized and clean — a real massage table, not a bed, fresh towels, a calm room with candles and soft music. I work with deep tissue, sports massage, and Swedish techniques because they all have their place, depending on what your body is asking for.
