About

Twenty years into this work, and I'm still learning what the body wants to tell you if you listen long enough. That experience started before massage, too. I spent fifteen years as a personal trainer, worked in physical therapy, coached basketball, and even played tennis as a USTA pro down in Texas. All of that—the anatomy, the movement patterns, the athlete's mindset—it feeds into what I do on the table now.

I'm licensed through the Cortiva Massage Institute in Seattle and trained in over twenty-five different modalities. That breadth matters because no two bodies are the same, and no two sessions should feel identical either. In my Portland, Oregon studio, I focus heavily on conscious breathwork, energy work, and acupressure. When I'm working in Washington, I lean into deep tissue, sports massage, and Swedish. What ties it together is attention—real, sustained attention to what you need on any given day.

I keep my schedule intentionally light. I see no more than two clients a day. That's a choice I made years ago because I noticed the difference it made in the quality of the work. You get my full presence, not my fatigue. My studio sits on a hillside surrounded by trees, and the space is built for calm—heated table, private entrance, shower, all of it designed so you can arrive stressed and leave feeling like you've actually reset.

I've been an honored member of the LGBTQ+ community for over twenty years, and I bring that lived experience to my work with an open, non-discriminatory policy. Everyone who walks through that door should feel safe and seen.

I serve the Portland metro and southern Washington with both studio and mobile sessions. If you're curious about what a session feels like, read through the testimonials. They go back years, and they're honest.

Testimonials

I got a massage from Corey yesterday after finishing a long run while training for the Boston Marathon. Corey came across as friendly and polished. The studio is very comfortable and tastefully set up.

The massage was excellent, with a wonderful balance of force and method. Everything was made even better by his occasional use of different creams and oils, making the whole encounter both healing and soothing.

I would suggest Corey without hesitation.

Corey is a gifted and deeply intuitive gay male massage therapist who has fundamentally changed my understanding of therapeutic touch. From the instant I walked into his quiet studio, I sensed this would be an unforgettable journey of deep rest and restoration.

Corey brings a natural warmth and professionalism that instantly puts you at ease. His inviting manner, paired with authentic care for his clients' wellbeing, builds a room where you can actually let go and release the weight of daily stress. It transcends being merely a massage—it's a complete and deeply restorative experience.

The studio itself mirrors Corey's dedication to offering a serene healing space. Quiet ambient music combined with gentle aromatherapy prepare you for a descent into deep rest that reaches far beyond the physical.

Now, about the massage itself—an exquisite orchestration of touch that demonstrates Corey's remarkable expertise and love for his profession. His hands seem to flow across your body, automatically locating and releasing tension with the ideal degree of intensity. Each motion carries intention, each press feels like a deliberate gesture that restores equilibrium and wholeness.

What truly distinguishes Corey is how he personalizes the experience to fit your specific situation. Whether you're dealing with muscular discomfort, stress, or simply need a moment of self-attention, Corey modifies the session with an expertise that makes you feel known and valued.

Beyond the physical healing, there's an emotional and spiritual quality to Corey's work that runs very deep. The calm energy he carries creates a secure environment for opening up and growth, so the encounter becomes therapeutic for your whole being—body, feelings, and spirit.

In a time when genuine presence is uncommon, Corey bridges that gap with his special gift, crafting an encounter that goes beyond the everyday. If you're looking for a massage therapist who goes deeper than surface relief, offering genuine care for your complete wellness, Corey is absolutely exceptional. Invest in the extraordinary—your whole being will be grateful.

What people say about Corey and his skill is totally true. From walking into his studio to leaving, his undivided focus is on you. He blends numerous techniques and styles to address tight muscles and knots. He understands muscle anatomy well and uses that knowledge to focus on those difficult areas with careful strength—both intense deep work and lighter soothing strokes. I'm usually tight, but when I got off his table I truly felt restored and energized—even better the next day. And Corey is a great person, fun to talk to, and he really listens. Definitely go see Corey.
