About
Trained at Vancouver's prestigious School of Massage and Bodywork, then in Thailand, Denver, and across North America, I've built my practice on a foundation of rigorous study in traditional Asian massage techniques. That early education opened my eyes to what's possible when you combine deep anatomical knowledge with the body wisdom embedded in Thai, Ayurvedic, and energy-work traditions.
Over 12 years, I've worked with clients worldwide, and that experience has shaped how I approach each session. I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Registered Nurse, which means I understand your body from multiple angles—the structural, the energetic, the medical. I specialize in authentic Thai massage with its distinctive deep relaxation pressure, Thai yoga stretching, and Swedish techniques, but I've also trained extensively in trigger point work, myofascial release, abdominal massage, and root and sacral chakra work. Every technique has a purpose.
My studio in Portland offers a calm, private space with amenities that matter: free parking, a sauna, candles, soft music, and clean water. I also offer mobile sessions, bringing that same quality work to you. Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, tight muscles, or you simply need genuine healing touch, I customize every session to what your body needs that day. I work with my hands, fingers, feet, knees—whatever creates the most effective pressure and release for you.
To book, just text me your preferred availability and dates. I work early mornings through late evenings, every single day.

Testimonials
I rarely write reviews, but after experiencing Milo's work, I felt compelled to share. His intuitive touch and clear expertise in Thai massage methodology, shaped by his training in Thailand, stand out immediately. Over multiple visits, he refreshes his approach with new stretches and maneuvers each time, personalizing every session to what my body actually needs. He knows when to apply light, medium, or deep pressure and exactly which areas benefit from stretching to get the best results. I especially love the work he does with his feet—the pressure is perfectly calibrated. I've had 90-minute, two-hour, and three-hour sessions with him, and I'd honestly recommend jumping straight to the longer appointment. Milo works in a true professional studio space, and you'll be more than satisfied if you book with him.
When I booked my first session with Milo, I expected a standard Asian-style massage. I was completely unprepared for what I experienced. His one-hour session using his hands, fingers, feet, toes, and knees—even walking on me—blew my mind in the best way. After that first appointment and our conversation about my body's challenges, I knew one visit wouldn't cut it. During his four-day time in my city, I ended up scheduling eight sessions totaling 11 hours with him. Milo is extraordinary. My body carries a lot of issues, and he's genuinely a healer. I felt progressively better with each session. His fingers have incredible strength—I nicknamed him "Mr. Crab" because of it—and his technique is hard to put into words. I'm now planning to fly to Denver for more sessions. Milo, you're outstanding.
Hemasseur's Take
Clients praise Milo's exceptional intuitive touch, technical mastery of Thai massage, and his ability to deliver noticeable relief even in single sessions. What sets him apart is his willingness to evolve each appointment based on your body's needs, his remarkable pressure control using feet and hands, and his genuine healing presence that leaves clients wanting to return repeatedly or travel specifically to see him again.
People with chronic pain and tension report feeling progressively better with each session, and even those skeptical about massage find themselves surprised by the depth and effectiveness of his work.

FAQ
What is authentic Thai massage and how is it different from Swedish massage?
Authentic Thai massage uses rhythmic deep pressure, gentle stretching, and energy-line work to release tension throughout the body, while Swedish massage focuses on softer strokes to improve circulation. I blend both approaches, choosing whichever technique best addresses your specific needs—Thai when you need deeper pressure and structural release, Swedish when your body calls for something gentler.
How much does a 60-minute massage cost in Portland?
A 60-minute studio session with me is $175, which is below the Portland average of $129 when you factor in my specialized training and the range of techniques I offer. I also offer 90-minute sessions at $260 and two-hour sessions at $350.
Do you offer mobile massage in Portland?
Yes, I provide mobile massage throughout Portland and the surrounding areas. I bring the same quality work to your home or office that you'd receive in my studio, and I'm available from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. every day. Just text me your preferred times and dates.
What techniques do you use for chronic pain and muscle tightness?
I combine trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue work, and Thai stretching to address chronic pain at its source. As a Registered Nurse, I understand the anatomy of pain, so I can target problem areas effectively while respecting your body's limits. Many clients notice relief after their first session and continued improvement over time.
Are there discounts available in Portland?
Yes. I offer discounts for military veterans, students, law enforcement, emergency workers, and massage therapists. I also sell prepaid bodywork packages at a discount, and gift certificates are always available. Ask when you book.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept cash, checks, all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Square Cash, and Samsung Pay. Whatever is easiest for you works for me.
How long have you been practicing massage therapy?
I've been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 12 years, with additional training as a Registered Nurse. I studied at the Vancouver School of Massage and Bodywork, Ong's Massage School in Denver, and the Denver Integrative Massage School, plus extensive hands-on training in Thailand and the Philippines.
Do you offer other services besides massage?
In addition to massage, I offer cupping therapy and facials. Both complement deep bodywork and can be added to your session or booked separately. Ask me about what might work best for your needs.
