About
Three decades of hands-on work with bodies—that's what brought me to this studio in Portland. I started training at Jupiter Hollow in Santa Rosa back in 1995, and I've been learning ever since. More recently, I completed advanced training at East West College here in Portland, deepening my understanding of how muscles, fascia, and joints all work together.
When you come in, you'll find a space designed for you to feel safe, secure, and genuinely at ease. We start with a real conversation. I want to know what's bothering you, what you've tried before, where the pain lives. Then I use palpation to assess what I'm feeling and anticipate what needs to happen next. That information shapes the whole session.
I begin with manual work to warm the muscles, then evolve into more intense, specific engagement around muscle origins and insertions. I love blending techniques. Lomi lomi with its long flowing strokes feels wonderful, and I'll follow that with passive range of motion and stretching to free restrictions you didn't even know you had. Myofascial release, deep tissue, orthopedic work—I use what your body is asking for.
Ninety-minute and two-hour sessions give us time to do real work. More stretching, joint mobilization, a chance to actually shift what's been stuck.
My studio sits upstairs off Burnside and Barnes with private parking and easy access. You'll work on a heated massage table—wide, supportive, the kind that holds you. Private shower and bathroom are here if you need them. I use Biotone unscented products. This is a no-judgment zone where everyone is welcome.
