About

Training at East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland taught me something that twelve years of practice has only deepened: the body knows how to heal itself when you listen closely enough. I completed my initial certification there in 2014, then spent the following year studying Lomi Lomi, the Hawaiian massage lineage that became the foundation of my work. A year later, I returned for advanced training in that same tradition. What drew me to Lomi Lomi wasn't just technique—it was philosophy. This work is about radical wholeness, about helping you feel at home within your own body and self.

My bodywork blends several approaches. At its heart is Lomi Lomi, but I also draw on deep tissue, Swedish massage, hot stone work, and energy techniques like Reiki. The pressure is never harsh or punishing. Instead, I work with your joints and bones in a way that feels genuinely good, the kind of work that leaves you deeply relaxed rather than sore. I notice immediately when something hurts and I adjust—that responsiveness comes from years of listening to what each body needs.

Beyond the table, I offer spiritwork sessions for the subtler aspects of your being, private Kripalu Yoga instruction, and coaching in breath work and meditation. I love working with athletes and weightlifters, dancers, spiritual practitioners, people moving through life transitions, queer folks, and anyone seeking to feel more whole. My studio is in SE Portland, and I'm available 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Text to schedule.

Testimonials

Lance had excellent technique and attentive hands. He checked in about pressure as he moved through different areas, and when he noticed tension or pain, he immediately worked with it to release it. He was courteous and clearly experienced, and I'm looking forward to scheduling another session.
