About

East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland taught me that the body holds far more intelligence than we give it credit for. I graduated in 2019 with the foundation I needed, but the real learning began in the five years since—watching how a client's nervous system responds to pressure, how breath and touch can reset years of holding patterns, how the same technique won't work for two different people even if they walk in with identical complaints.

That's why I built my practice around what I call Attuned Bodywork. It's my signature approach, and it means I'm not following a script. When you come in, I'm meeting you exactly where you are today. Some days that means deep clinical work—Deep Tissue, Structural Integration, Myofascial Release to address chronic pain and the patterns your body has learned to protect itself with. Other times it means working with your nervous system through CranioSacral Therapy or Neuromuscular techniques. And sometimes you need pure energetic restoration, so I offer sessions fully focused on Reiki and somatic balancing.

I work on a premium VibroAcoustic heated table that uses sound therapy to bypass the mental chatter and deepen your relaxation. The warmth, the vibration, the pressure—all of it works together to help your body actually receive the work instead of bracing against it.

I'm trained in Aromatherapy, Trigger Point, Sports massage, Shiatsu, Prenatal and Postnatal work, Lymphatic Drainage, Chair massage, and Conscious Breathwork. But the breadth of training only matters because it lets me customize your session to your specific needs. Whether you require the deepest pressure to release tension or a feather-light touch because your system is sensitive, I adjust. I also offer Cupping, Hydrotherapy, Meditation coaching, and Personal coaching as part of a broader healing picture.

I'm located in the heart of the Pearl District in Portland, and I serve clients throughout the surrounding areas via mobile sessions within 10 miles. My hours run 9 a.m. to midnight every day, so I work around your life. I view bodywork as vital maintenance—the kind of consistent, long-term therapeutic relationship that prevents small issues from becoming big ones. That's what I'm building here.

Testimonials

Booking an appointment was straightforward and efficient, and the massage itself was terrific. Throughout the session, Kolt made sure the pressure felt right for me. I walked out feeling better than I had in weeks and already booked my next appointment.

The pressure was absolutely right and the technique was excellent. I left the massage feeling deeply relaxed. Kolt was friendly, easy to communicate with, and prompt in all his responses. His massage space is nice and inviting. I enjoyed our conversation during the session—he's clearly intelligent and well-read. I recommend him without hesitation.

Nov. 20, 2024 · Portland, OR · in-studio

I've never experienced a massage therapist who was quite this thorough with my specific aches and pains. I've had chronic hand pain for over a year, visited multiple specialists, completed a full year of physical therapy, and got more relief from a single session with Kolt than from months of therapy. The nerve pain in my hand is gone. I'm still shocked I can use my hand again without pain. The VibroAcoustic table was incredibly cool and comfortable too. I'm definitely coming back.

Hemasseur's Take

Clients consistently report dramatic relief from chronic pain—including one long-standing case of hand nerve pain that months of physical therapy hadn't touched—along with deep relaxation and strong communication throughout the session. The VibroAcoustic table, inviting Pearl District studio space, and Kolt's attentiveness to pressure and problem areas emerge as key reasons clients book return appointments and recommend the practice to others.

Clients also note his intelligence, responsiveness to booking requests, and ability to make them feel genuinely welcomed and cared for during their time in the studio.

FAQ

What techniques does Me use for chronic pain in Portland?

I blend Deep Tissue, Structural Integration, Myofascial Release, and Neuromuscular Therapy to address chronic pain and holding patterns. I also integrate CranioSacral Therapy to reset the nervous system, which often plays a big role in how long pain sticks around. The combination lets me address both the physical tissue and the protective patterns your body has learned.

Is there a mobile massage therapist serving the Portland area?

Yes. I offer mobile sessions throughout Portland and surrounding areas within a 10-mile radius. I bring a heated massage table, aromatherapy, and music to your home or office. Mobile sessions range from $25 for 15 minutes to $325 for 150 minutes.

How much does a 60-minute deep tissue massage cost in Portland?

A 60-minute in-studio session is $125. If you prefer a mobile session in your home or office, the same 60 minutes runs $175. Both sessions use the same techniques and can include Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, or whatever approach fits your needs.

What is the VibroAcoustic table I've heard about?

It's a premium heated massage table that uses sound therapy built into the surface. The vibration and warmth help your nervous system relax more deeply than a standard table, so you receive the bodywork without bracing against it. I use this table for all in-studio sessions and can bring a portable heated table for mobile work.

Does Me offer same-day or next-day appointments in Portland?

I'm available from 9 a.m. to midnight every day. Same-day and next-day appointments often open up—send me a message and I'll let you know what's available. I respond quickly to booking requests.

What discounts are available?

First-time clients, repeat clients, emergency workers, and airline crews all qualify for discounts. I also offer discounts on prepaid bodywork packages. Ask when you book and I'll walk you through the details.

Can I book a massage for prenatal or postnatal work in Portland?

Yes. I'm trained in both Prenatal and Postnatal massage. These sessions are customized to where you are in your pregnancy or recovery, and I adjust pressure and positioning to keep you safe and comfortable. Book a session and mention your stage in the booking notes.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash, all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Wallet, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Square Cash, and Bitcoin. I also work with barter arrangements—ask if you're interested.
