About
Eighteen years of working hands-on with clients has taught me something you can't learn from a textbook: every body tells a different story, and every session needs to be different too.
I started my training at Lauterstein-Conway School in Austin back in 2006, and I've never stopped learning. Since then, I've taken a steady stream of professional development classes and clinics—everything from advanced technique work to continuing education courses across Austin. That commitment matters. I get worked on myself every few weeks, which keeps me grounded in what my clients experience on the table.
Now, when you come in, you'll get my full attention. If you want to zone out completely and just let the stress melt away, I'll create that space for you. If you've got a specific problem area—tight shoulders, lower back pain, whatever it is—I'll focus there with the right technique. I work with a range of approaches:
- Ashiatsu and deep tissue for serious muscle work
- Swedish for flow and relaxation
- Myofascial release for the connective tissue stuff
- Sports massage if you're recovering from activity
- Reiki if that resonates with you
My studio in Austin is set up to help you feel safe and comfortable. You'll get a heated table, hot towels, aromatherapy, privacy, and a shower if you need it. Free parking too—no hassle.
One thing I'm clear about: I do massage therapy, and I do it well. I won't offer anything beyond what a licensed MT should provide, and I definitely won't work with anyone who's sick. No cold, flu, or random infectious disease for me—I'd like to stay healthy, and I'm sure you would too!
I'm here in Austin, open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, and I also offer mobile services so I can come to you. Let's get you feeling better.
