About
Training in structural integration at Stretch to Win in Phoenix gave me a foundation that shaped how I work with bodies today. That was 2018, and it's been the backbone of my practice ever since. I completed my massage therapy certification at CHCP in Fort Worth before that, but it's the deep dive into fascial stretch therapy that set me apart. I've been a licensed massage therapist here in Austin, Texas for 11 years now, and that time has taught me to read what a body's actually asking for—not just what a client says on the intake form.
I work with a wide range of people. Pro bodybuilders and powerlifters come through my studio, but so do desk workers with shoulder tension, athletes recovering from injury, and folks dealing with chronic pain and postural issues. Whether you're looking to relax or you've got extensive problems that other therapists haven't been able to touch, I'm here to help you get out of pain. I'm highly intuitive about finding the root of what's tight or stuck, and I use everything in my toolkit to address it.
My technique blends deep tissue work with myofascial release, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular release, and sports massage—I pull from structural work, Swedish technique, and orthopedic principles depending on what your body needs. I also offer cupping to complement the massage work.
I'm a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and I want everyone to feel genuinely welcome in my space. You won't be judged here. You'll be met with professionalism, care, and the kind of presence that helps you actually relax into the work. I serve Austin and the surrounding areas, and I offer both in-studio sessions and mobile massage, so you can work with me however fits your life.

Testimonials
I booked a 90-minute deep tissue session and Mike delivered exactly what I needed. His technique was solid, his draping was respectful, and if you want someone who knows how to do deep tissue right, Mike is the person to see.
From the moment Mike's hands touched my back, I felt I was in capable hands. He created a calm, welcoming atmosphere and knows how to work with tension in a way that really helps. What impressed me most was his ability to find the exact spots in my shoulders where stress was lodged—places other therapists missed completely. I left with real relief and felt his professionalism throughout.

FAQ
What is deep tissue massage and is it right for me?
Deep tissue massage focuses on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue, using sustained pressure and slower strokes to release chronic tension and pain. It's particularly helpful if you have tight shoulders, lower back pain, postural issues, or recovery needs from sports or weightlifting.
Does Mike offer mobile massage in Austin?
Yes, I provide mobile massage and will come to your home or office in Austin and the surrounding areas. Mobile sessions are $200 for 60 minutes or $250 for 90 minutes, and I bring a heated massage table for your comfort.
What is fascial stretch therapy and how does it help?
Fascial stretch therapy is a technique that releases tension in the fascia—the connective tissue surrounding your muscles—by using assisted stretching and applied pressure. I'm a level two certified fascial stretch therapist, which means I can blend this work into sessions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and support better posture.
How much does a 90-minute massage cost in Austin?
A 90-minute massage in my Austin studio is $200, or $250 if you'd prefer me to come to your location.
What if I'm recovering from sports injury or I'm an athlete?
I work regularly with athletes and people in recovery. My training includes sports massage, neuromuscular release, and orthopedic techniques, so I can address the specific demands of your body and help you return to activity safely.
Do you offer discounts for military, students, or law enforcement?
Yes, I offer special rates for military veterans, students, and law enforcement. I also sell gift certificates if you'd like to give massage as a gift.
What's the difference between your in-studio and mobile massage?
Both services are the same quality work. In-studio sessions at my Austin location are $150 for 60 minutes or $200 for 90 minutes. Mobile sessions, where I come to you with a heated massage table, are $200 for 60 minutes or $250 for 90 minutes.
