About

Training at the Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts in Seattle taught me that touch is a language. For nearly five years now, I've been speaking it fluently with clients in my private practice near West Seattle's Alaska Junction, and every single day I understand the work more deeply.

I came into this field because I wanted to help people heal from trauma to the body, mind, and soul. That's what drew me to massage in the first place, and it's shaped everything I do. I combine clinical massage, relaxation work, and energy therapies to meet clients where they are—whether they're recovering from injury, preparing for athletic competition, or working through something much more complex.

One of my specialties is something not many therapists in Washington can offer: I'm one of the few gay massage therapists who is legally certified in breast and chest massage. That means I work with cancer survivors, transgender clients recovering from top surgery, and assault survivors in ways that honor both the clinical need and the emotional reality of that work. I've also trained in sports massage, and I've been on location at the 2025 Gay Softball World Series helping athletes prepare and recover.

Ben at The Tea Room Massage & Wellness works full-time, and I mean that seriously. Every client gets what they need: new guests book a 60-minute first appointment that includes a 30-minute consultation with postural and gait assessment before we start, then the massage itself, then another 30 minutes after to talk through aftercare and build a treatment plan together. I use professional scheduling software and require intake and consent forms completed before you arrive. This is clinical work, and I treat it that way.

Right now I have Saturday openings through the end of May. I also offer mobile massage serving Seattle and surrounding areas.
