About

Training in somatics and dance at Cornish College of the Arts gave me a foundation that goes beyond typical massage. I studied the way the body holds tension, the way movement and stillness inform each other, and how to work with the nervous system rather than just against tight muscles. That education shaped everything I do now.

Over the last 10 years, I've woven together massage, Reiki, breathwork, and somatic techniques into sessions that feel integral to who you are right now. I studied Thai massage in Ko Samui, Thailand. I completed my massage therapy training at Maui Academy of Healing Arts. I earned my Reiki Master certification at Maha Rose South. Each modality taught me something different about how the body remembers itself and finds its way back to homeostasis.

What I do in my Seattle studio is create a safe, grounding container where we work together to calm your nervous system and unlock the stored energy your body's been carrying. I'm very intuitive—I listen to what you need and adapt the session accordingly. Whether that's Ashiatsu, Thai, CranioSacral work, conscious breathwork, Swedish, Lomi Lomi, or Reiki, I use the techniques that will serve you best.

I'm here to remind your body of its own radiance. You'll walk out feeling lighter, steadier, and genuinely cared for. I serve clients in Seattle and the surrounding areas, both in my studio and in your home.

Testimonials

Matt is an excellent massage therapist. He found all the tension I was holding and incorporated stretching throughout the session that made a real difference in how I felt. I left feeling loose, lighter, and completely refreshed. Five stars. - Chris

I hadn't gotten a massage in years and was extremely nervous about returning to bodywork later in life. My desk job had finally convinced me I needed help. The last good massage therapist I'd found in Seattle had moved away eight years prior, so I was skeptical. When I arrived at Matt's studio, my anxiety was high and I couldn't settle. But Matt sat with me first to discuss my injuries, sore areas, and concerns. Once we began, I experienced the most peaceful and intuitive massage of my life. Matt's extensive training is clear, but what truly sets him apart is his warm, kind presence. His studio feels designed specifically for you. Whether his skill, his intuition, or both working together, Matt weaves the physical and spiritual dimensions of healing into one experience. I'd encourage anyone carrying stress or soreness to give themselves this gift.
