About

Twenty-two years of working with clients in Seattle has taught me what really matters: listening to your body and giving you exactly what it needs. I started at the Brian Utting School of Massage back in 2004, and that foundation shaped how I work today. Since then, I've spent over two decades refining my craft with people from every walk of life—straight, gay, bi, questioning, and trans clients of all ages. I know how to read what your body's asking for.

My studio sits on California Ave SW near the Morgan Junction in West Seattle, where I blend deep tissue work, sports massage, Swedish technique, and trigger point therapy into sessions that feel custom-made for you. I'm also a Certified Craniosacral Therapist and a Reiki Master, so if you're looking for something gentler or more energetic, I can meet you there too. Some clients come in tight and wound up; others need work on a specific injury or just want to feel cared for in a quiet, private space. I adjust every session to what your body needs right now.

I keep the studio comfortable year-round, with free parking, cold water, soft music, and a private restroom. I'm open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, and I can usually fit you in even if you call last minute. If you prefer to speak Spanish, I'm happy to do that too—just ask.

I also offer mobile massage if you'd rather have me come to you.

Testimonials

I couldn't believe he had an opening on a Friday afternoon. His technique is unmatched, and I've had hundreds of massages over the years. You feel his 20-plus years the moment his hands touch you. Already scheduled my next visit and counting down the days.

One of the best massages I've ever experienced. Tod really knew how to release the knots and help me feel settled afterwards.

Tod worked out my lower shoulder tension with perfect intuition. The pressure was exactly right—not too heavy, not too light. The whole session felt unhurried and like he genuinely cared. His location in West Seattle is perfect for me too.

Hemasseur's Take

Across five sessions, clients highlight Tod's technical skill and unhurried, caring presence as his signature strengths. They mention specific results like perfectly calibrated pressure for shoulder issues, relief from tension, and the rare ability to book last-minute appointments without feeling rushed.

Repeating clients especially praise how his 22 years of experience show up immediately in his work, and how he adjusts his approach to what each body needs rather than following a preset routine.
