About

Twenty-five years of hands-on work has taught me something most people don't realize until they're on my table: stress lives in your muscles, and it doesn't leave on its own.

I've spent a quarter-century working with runners, desk workers, athletes, doctors, surgeons, and anyone else carrying tension they didn't know was there. I completed my Master Massage certification at Southwest Healing Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona, and I've never stopped learning what each body needs in the moment.

My studio in Phoenix combines traditional techniques with smart tech infrared cupping—a game changer for releasing deep muscle lock and inflammation. When you book with me, you're getting a 65-minute or 90-minute session that's built just for you. I work with Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, sports massage, myofascial release, acupressure, and everything in between. The pressure, the pace, the focus—it shifts based on what your body tells me.

Most people come in stressed, tight, unable to move freely. They leave different. Lighter. Capable of breathing again. I listen to your story, feel what's locked up, and create a session that actually addresses it instead of skating over it. From light to deep pressure, I'll meet you where you are and take you where you need to go.

Testimonials

Bruce doesn't make empty promises about pressure or specialties like other therapists I've tried. This is my third visit and each one has been better than the last. What amazes me most is his creative problem-solving—he thinks outside the box and will do whatever it takes to fix the issue. After ten years with pain from a car accident, he unlocked a muscle no other therapist could touch. I now have full range of motion and no pain. His table is one of the most comfortable I've ever laid on.

After years of therapists claiming deep work they couldn't back up, I was frustrated and skeptical. Bruce answered all my questions over the phone before I booked, and during the session he delivered the deep pressure I asked for plus techniques I'd never experienced. When I asked how he knows exactly what bodywork to do, he said your body has a story to tell, and he reads it as it unfolds. I booked a 90-minute follow-up right away and had him focus on my legs and glutes since I'm a runner. He intensified the work even more effectively than the first time. I'm now booking weekly.

I saw Bruce for fifteen years before he left his company job, then lost touch for five years. I ran into him recently at the business complex where he now has his private practice. He rearranged his schedule to fit me in after my acupuncture appointment, which shows how much he puts clients first. His skills have only improved. During one session he paused, then created a completely new technique right there on the table designed just for my body—something no other therapist has done. The session ran over 90 minutes and he didn't charge extra. I felt so relaxed after that I could barely get up. I'm back to weekly standing appointments.

Hemasseur's Take

Clients consistently report that Bruce delivers results where other therapists failed—unlocking old injuries, restoring mobility, and relieving pain in single sessions. His combination of deep listening, technical skill across multiple modalities, and willingness to customize and problem-solve on the spot sets him apart; many reviewers specifically praise his infrared cupping work, his refusal to rush, and his magical intuition about exactly where and how to work on each body.

Across fifteen-plus years of reviews, the dominant theme is that Bruce charges significantly less than he should for his level of skill and the outcomes clients achieve—from athletes getting sports-specific work to people recovering from old accidents finding relief for the first time.

FAQ

How much does deep tissue massage cost in Phoenix?

At my studio in Phoenix, a 60-minute deep tissue session is $70, and 90-minute sessions run $100. I keep my rates affordable because massage should be accessible, not a luxury only some people can afford.

What is infrared cupping and how does it help?

Infrared cupping uses smart tech cups with infrared light to release muscle tension, improve blood flow, and reduce pain—especially for old injuries or chronic tightness. I combine it with massage in a 65 or 90-minute session for deeper results than either technique alone.

Do you offer mobile massage in Phoenix?

Yes, I offer mobile massage therapy serving Phoenix and surrounding areas. Call or text to schedule a session at your home or office and I'll bring the table and all the tools.

What massage techniques does Bruce use?

I'm trained in Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point, myofascial release, acupressure, neuromuscular work, hot stone, reiki, polarity therapy, conscious breathwork, and aromatherapy. Each session is customized to what your body needs.

How long is a session and what can I expect?

Most sessions run 60 minutes or 90 minutes. I spend time listening to your concerns before we start, then work with hands-on bodywork tailored to your pain points, pressure preference, and goals. You'll leave feeling relaxed and with better mobility.

I have an old injury that other therapists couldn't help. Can you?

Possibly. I've worked with clients carrying injuries for years—car accidents, old sports damage, chronic pain—and found ways to release muscles no other therapist reached. Every body has a unique story; I listen to it and respond with the right technique.

What hours are you open in Phoenix?

I'm available noon to 10 p.m. every day. Call or text to book your session; I fill up quickly so early booking helps.

Do you work with athletes?

Yes. I specialize in sports massage and work with runners, gym-goers, and competitive athletes regularly. Sports technique combined with deeper trigger point work addresses the specific demands on your body.
